Doves,
Last week, Lisa Taylor
sent in a letter "Is there a Tu B'Av Harpazo Pattern?"
In this letter she pointed out
the numerous patterns found in the Bible concerning Tu B'Av
that point to a possible connection to the day of the
Rapture.
I had not written about this
day this season as I've been more focused on Tisha B'Av, so
thank you for directing our attention to this day - just six
days later.
I added Tyler's video "More
New Wine Evidence" because it ties into Lisa's letter.
He considers this day of Tu B'Av a very high watch
day. And he believes that Tu B'Av is the Feast of New
Wine and that it is Acts Pentecost. (Some are looking
at Tisha B'Av as the Feast of New Wine).
This is the first time I've
heard about Tu B'Av as being the New Wine Festival.
Tu B'Av Harpazo
Pattern:
Lisa wrote that Tu B'Av
is the beginning of the grape harvest. And that the
Greek translation of the word "catch" (as in the catching of
a bride in the vineyards on Tu B'Av) in Judges 21:21 is
"harpazo". - caught up. As we shall be 'caught up' at
the Rapture. 1 Thessalonians 4:17 It's a summer
time harvest. And she adds Micah and his 'woe is me -
all the good men have perished from the earth.' After
the Rapture, the righteous are gone.
The Hebcal calendar has
Tu B'Av on August 18 - 19.
Lisa reminded us of the
"clue" Jesus gave us that He would not drink of the fruit of
the vine until He drinks it new in Heaven.
Matthew 26:26 (Some translations make it very
clear: "until that day when I drink new
wine with you..."

topic:
Tyler ties the Feast
of New Wine to Tu B'Av via scripture specifically.looking
at stories of Moses, Hannah and Samson (unlike Dr. Awe -
who has also studied the verses but he has counted the
Feast of New Wine to the day before Tisha B'Av).
Tisha B'Av (9th of Av) and Tu B'Av (15th of Av) are
only a few days apart. He often refers to the
"season of New Wine" (I think that's 9th of Av to the 15th
of Av).
Tyler said the Feast
of New Wine is extremely significant. The Feast of
New Wine is a time we ...should be watchful, regardless if
it comes and goes this year.... He said he's going to be
extra watchful of New Wine every year - he thinks it's
that important.
He said that this New
Wine Festival of Tu B'Av was already being celebrated long
before the Benjamites went to collect wives on this
day.....Tu B'Av has been celebrated for centuries.
He shows a video of the 'Jewish perspective on the 9th Av
(Tish B'Av) and the 15th of Av (Tu B'Av) and shows how
these two are connected. Check this out at 15:30 in

Why are these days
celebrated within a week of each other?
Tu B'Av is a biblical
holiday.
The first is Tish
B'Av: God decreed they will not enter the Holy Land
- this started with the spies. The Torah shows this
day to be Tish B'Av - it was during the grape
harvest.
On Tu B'Av the
Benjamite bachelors 'snatched' a girl out of the
vineyards - it's a day of love, many marriages; a very
happy day. It was during the grape harvest. An
ancient harvest festival that's biblical. An ancient
holiday. It's not a rabbincal holiday. It's a
biblical holiday.

This is the time of
new wine. Tisha B'Av came with the ill report, so
they could not enter the Holy Land, and Tu B'Av was a
happy celebration of going into the Holy Land...both in
the season of the new wine.
He talked about the
digging of the graves on the 9th of Av - found in ancient
historical documents - writing and tradition. The
next day, 15,000 were dead...God's continued
punishment. Finally after 40 years, they laid in the
graves on 9th of Av - woke up the next day and none had
died, so they thought they'd miscalculated the day so they
kept getting in their graves until the full moon - 15th of
Av. So they knew then the curse was ended.
They rose from their graves knowing they could enter the
Holy Land. A very happy day~
Taylor said that
sounds "a lot like Rapture - people coming out of their
graves."
So that's the
connection between Tisha B'Av and Tu B'Av.
I Samuel 1:4 tells the
story of Elkanah and his two wives Hannah (childless) and
Peninnah (had children). They went up to Shiloh
'year after year' to worship and sacrifice - they ate and
drank at Shiloh - this was at the New Wine Feast.
(The first time 'eat and drank' shows up together in the
scripture is when Boaz and Ruth were together/married - at
New Wine.)
Hannah was taunted by
Peninnah because she had no child. Hannah prayed to
the Lord for a son and that she would dedicate him to the
Lord and "no razor shall ever come over his head."
No razor shall touch his head - so he would be a Nazirite
(people known by their uncut hair and abstinence from
wine.). The Lord "remembered her" and she had a son
- she named him Samuel. After weaning her son, she
took him to the house of the Lord as she had
promised. "I now dedicate the boy to the Lord.
For as long as he lives, he is dedicated to the
Lord." Samuel became a great prophet of the Lord.
Hannah was falsely
accused when in Shiloh at the New Wine Feast of being
drunk on wine when she was seen "praying with her heart,
and though her mouth was moving, her voice could not be
heard." 1 Samuel 1:13 This happened only one other
time when Peter and the Believers were accused of being
drunk on new wine on the Feast of New Wine.
This is the Holy
Spirit tying scripture together.
Hannah said she was
had not been drinking wine - she was a woman of
'spirit'. And had poured out her soul to the
Lord. This is like Peter's response - these men are
not drunken - the Lord has poured out His spirit on all
flesh.
Hannah comes to Shiloh
on Tu B'Av - 15th of Av; like Peter - on Tu T'Av - 15th of
Av - Acts Pentecost.
After Moses went up
the mountain the second time - the people wanted Aaron to
make them a golden calf to worship. Aaron said
"Tomorrow is a feast of the Lord"
Exodus 32:5 - the Feast of New Wine. In verse 18,
Moses hears the people celebrating and he said he heard of
"voice of them that begin the banquet of wine."
Tyler said "..so its at the banquet of wine it's at the
time of new wine when they were coming down and they found
the Israelites worshiping the golden calf this was at the
ninth of Av." (39:29) This would be the time of
Feast of New Wine - 50 days after the Feast of
Weeks. The same day/time New Wine of the evil report
of the spies. 3,000 men are killed for their
sin.
On Pentecost 3,000
were save. This is the Holy Spirit tying the
scriptures together.
Only one other child
dedicated from birth to be perpetual Nazirite - that is
Samson. The spirit of the Lord came upon Samson and
gave him his strength. His story peaks at New
Wine. Judges 16 - the capture of Samson - at the end
of the wheat harvest - Samson is grinding the wheat.
Time of New Wine is at the end of wheat harvest.
3,000 men and women died when Samson toppled the building.
This is the Holy
Spirit tying scripture together.
Neither Samson nor
Samuel drank wine.
Jesus tells us He will
not drink wine again until 'I drink it new with you in My
Father's kingdom'. Jesus will fulfill the prophecy
with the cup of wine. The Nazirite vow has a strong
connection to New Wine. Jesus is the fulfillment of
this vow. Samson and Samuel's story point to New
Wine and the work of the Spirit. This is not
coincidence. This is the Holy Spirit tying scripture
together.
New Wine is early in
the month of Av. The end of the wheat harvest is
early in the month of Av. The 3,000 killed under
Moses, this was at the time of New Wine. 3,000 were
killed by Samson at the time of New Wine. 3,000 saved by the
Holy Spirit at Act Pentecost.
In the Dead Sea
Scrolls, New Wine is fifty days after Feast of Weeks and
the High Priest would pour out the new wine at the third
hour...Peter said the men couldn't be drunk until after
the third hour of the day.
The High Priest poured
at the New Wine offering, Jesus poured out his Spirit at
New Wine.
Moses at Mt. Sinai,
Hannah at Shiloh and Samson destroying the pillars,
and the Holy Spirit poured out on the Upper Room - all
of these occurred during the same time period.
The Feast of New Wine.
The Spirit is the
wine.

To me, both Tisha B'Av
and Tu B'Av are during the 'new wine' season - that Tyler
refers to - are good high watch days. BUT Tu B'Av,
like Lisa wrote, it is a day of 'catching' the bride; and it
is a day of celebration for rising from the graves.
It's a day of great happiness.
I too believe that a
great earthquake will happen during the incredible
transformation of the dead bodies to immortal bodies -
resulting in global destruction. Woe to those left
behind~ Could that be yet another disaster for the Jewish
people on 9th of Av?? (refer to Micah)
So, as for 'special
days' - we have two here - Tisha B'Av (9th of Av, about
August 13) and Tu B'Av (15th of Av, about August 19) - when
Tisha passes I'll be looking at Tu.
