Hello Donna Danna,I use to believe that the Feast of Firsfruits was during the week of Passover. That's what I had read and I just 'assumed' that was correct. That was my belief for probably 30 years. Not any more - for the many reasons I've written about in previous letters on this topic. I believe that the Feast of Firstfruits is on 22 Nisan.And, very importantly, when Moses was given the 'rules' for the Lord's Feast Days - Sunday through Saturday did not exist. So when people start explaining the Feasts of the Lord in terms of Sunday through Saturday, they are not following the Lord's directions given in Leviticus 23, imo. They are adding in the 7 day calendar that came centuries after this - due to outside influences as I've covered in previous letters.The Lord tells us exactly what a Sabbath is and what His appointed feasts are in Leviticus 23:1 and 2.Thank you for your letter.
