A gigantic sunspot , now on the far side of the sun, will be directly pointing at earth next week. Sunspots are highly energized sections of the sun and commonly eject solar flares that can destroy electrical grids. The sun rotates on a 27 day schedule and the Sunspot is now on the far side of the sun.Destruction of an electrical grid would take years to rebuild.
