(Was David sometimes referring to the ark, that he pitched a tent for, in Zion, when he mentioned the word, "temple", in some of his psalms?

The first temple had not been built, yet, while he lived.

So, was he referring to the ark that he brought to Zion, or the remainder of the tabernacle at Gibeon, or the temple that is in heaven?

But, if the LORD's presence was with the ark, then wouldn't worshipping there make more sense than worshipping at the remainder of the tabernacle at Gibeon?)

Psalms 5:7 But as for me, I will come into thy house in the multitude of thy mercy: and in thy fear will I worship toward thy holy temple.

(Again, wasn't the presence of the LORD with the ark, rather than at Gibeon?)

Psalms 18:6 In my distress I called upon the LORD, and cried unto my God: he heard my voice out of his temple, and my cry came before him, even into his ears.

(Again, didn't David worship toward the ark in the tent he set up in Zion?)

Psalms 138:2 I will worship toward thy holy temple, and praise thy name for thy lovingkindness and for thy truth: for thou hast magnified thy word above all thy name.

(Didn't Asaph, at David's time, write this, about being in Jerusalem, particularly in Zion, while the remainder of the tabernacle was at Gibeon?)

Psalms 76:2 In Salem also is his tabernacle, and his dwelling place in Zion.

(In psalm 68, was David, instead, prophesying about the future temple in Jerusalem?)

Psalms 68:29 Because of thy temple at Jerusalem shall kings bring presents unto thee.

(Because, didn't Asaph, during David's time, prophesy about a yet future desecration of the future temple by the heathen?)

Psalms 79:1 O God, the heathen are come into thine inheritance; thy holy temple have they defiled; they have laid Jerusalem on heaps.
