But he didn't, and didn't one of Imperial Rome's daughters, the vatican, take the place of imperial Rome?

Then, later, the vatican during the dark ages, wouldn't that, then have fit Mystery, Babylon?

The reformers all believed that.

However, doesn't it say the following about her:

Revelation 17:5 And upon her forehead was a name written, MYSTERY, BABYLON THE GREAT, THE MOTHER OF HARLOTS AND ABOMINATIONS OF THE EARTH.

Did the mother of harlots pass on her iniquities to her daughters?

Ezekiel 16:44 Behold, every one that useth proverbs shall use this proverb against thee, saying, As is the mother, so is her daughter.

So, even though the vatican is not reigning over anywhere near the number of kings that she used to,

and even though she is no longer a massive consumer of the merchants of the world,

what if one her daughters has taken her place, so that in conjunction with her, they both represent Mystery, Babylon, collectively?
