Almighty God has highlighted the month of August 2023 with two super moons. The first being August 1st -which happens to be the day before Tu B'Av. The next super moon will also be a Blue Moon on August 31st. So, August 2023 has been bookended by these super moons.

The fourth and last super moon takes place on September 29th 2023. This is also known as the Harvest Moon. This date also happens to be Erev Sukkot !!

For what it's worth, I shared a letter to Doves quite awhile back about being woken up in the early hours on August 1st 2014 by the television switching itself on and blaring out the hymn Joy to the World. That was 9 years ago. My first panicked thought was to hurriedly switch it off before it woke the rest of the household. My second thought was how odd it was for a Christmas hymn to be played at that time of year. Ever since then, the date of August 1st has been etched in my memory. I am writing this on Monday July 31st so the date of August 1st will have come and gone by the time you read this. I just thought it was worth mentioning because of the super moons highlighting the month of August this year.
