Almighty God is not a God of confusion or unfairness. I am still waiting for someone to explain just how the devil gets 7 full years of power upon the earth, when our LORD Jesus only got 3.5 years? Almighty God promises that He will cut short the days of great tribulation. Which means the corresponding amount of 3.5 years that LORD Jesus walked the earth will be the time allotted to the devil. Our LORD's days were cut short. He was cut off in the middle of the week - but not for Himself.

Scripture clearly shows that satan has but 1,260 days to rule Jerusalem. NOT two periods of 1,260 days. Even the two witnesses prophesy for 1,260 days and are raised from the dead after 3.5 days. Revelation 11:2 shows that the nations will only trample the Holy City - Jerusalem - for 42 months. What is not to understand? It appears that this all hinges on the interpretation of Daniel 9:27. That thought has stuck firm and has coloured all prophesy ever since.
