First of all thank you for your kind words about me Reva, and to all my friends at RITAN, I will post some info below on how you can contact me.
I was so frustrated when RITAN moderated ahem, deleted my last post which was not at all inappropriate I thought. I tried to stay polite and did not name names at that time or go on a tirade on anyone. Out of frustration I was going to publish that post last week here on 5Doves, but John in his wisdom wrote me back saying that he did not think he should publish it because you covered the subject quite adequately in your post and he was right.
The only thing I will add for context is that my quarrel with RITAN was not about being able to post my zoom contact info directly on RITAN, which I knew was clearly against their rules. My point of contention was that I produced a video, which I thought could be edifying for the body and I submitted it to the mods for review.
I doubt if they even gave it a chance or watched it, Kolleen messaged me about it saying it could not be published because my zoom info was in the description of the video. My reply was that I was not publishing this info directly to the RITAN site in violation of their rules and I questioned how was anything I was doing different from any other video publisher out there and I gave the example of JD Faraq, whose videos can be found weekly at RITAN. If you go to the video link for Pastor JD, you can easily find his contact info and how to attend a church service at his sanctuary, whereas I was only giving out my “virtual” contact information. I felt very discriminated against for this reason and and saw this as a double standard like I was being censored for some reason.
I explained to Kolleen that I did not think it was practical for me to make a separate video absent any of my contact info just for the RITAN forum, especially when they are allowing posts of other videos with contact info. And I asked the all important question - did you even watch the video or just read the description and disregard it?
To this I received radio silence, crickets, no reply whatsoever.
No reply as to whether she had actually watched the video and no explanation as to how I was doing something different from Pastor JD or any other similar video and after patiently waiting and watching Kolleen interact on the forum all day and then not give the courtesy of any sort of reply to me, I felt like she just disregarded me and was as if someone hung up the phone on you. In my opinion it was shameful and rude, and quite unbecoming of a disciple. This was when I made the decision to take a “break” from that forum and wrote my post which was promptly moderated aka deleted.
So in any case, folks at RITAN I still love ya, you are all still my brothers and sisters in Christ - even you Kolleen, if you are reading this. We will all have to appear at the Bema seat some day and He will straighten all of us out, even me on quite a few things I am sure, but once we can lay down our own pride and submit to Him and His perfect will, we will be the happiest family and rejoice forever!
I have only ever wanted to be an encouragement to my brothers and sisters and abhor any sort of division and do not want to be the cause of any so I will stay away from a place where it appears I may not be fully welcome anymore, I have messaged tech support over there since it seems like I can no longer post and I now have limited access to my account over there and have not yet heard anything back from them as to this issue as well.
