In John's post of 21 February it was pointed
out that the only Bible verse where the words
bidden and Joseph occur together is Matthew
1:24 where we read "Then Joseph being raised from
sleep did as the angel of the Lord had bidden him,
and took unto him his wife:". With that in mind,
then, I do not believe that it is a coincidence
that Jewish year 5782 will commence at sundown on
September 6th on Rosh Hashanah, and Strong's
concordance for Hebrew words entry number 5782 is
"ur" which has the meaning of to rouse oneself or
awake.
