As Steve began
reading 2 Chronicles 20:17
I truly was in awe of the
Lord because at 2 a.m.that
SAME day, as I lay
awake and talking to
God, He brought
THAT VERY VERSE to my
mind !! As I
talked to Him about a
troubling encounter
I
had with a renown
brother in the Lord
publicly mocking
my understanding of a
dream I had.
(The dream:
millions of saints were on
top of a mountain I
believe to be Mt Moriah;
we were in sukkoths and
putting on radiant white
robes,
we were all excited and
talking at the same time
because we knew Jesus was
about to appear in our
midst; suddenly someone
screamed
"He's here" and
we looked and Jesus walked
up over the side of the
mountain to where we were,
a little white lamb at his
right side
and a staff in
His left hand. There was
nothing about Him that
would make Him stand out
from other men, about 6
feet tall,
shoulder length
red brown hair and his
robe plain
white).
In the dream I asked
Him "Lord why is your robe
plain white and ours
radiant white" as if a
light shown from them.
Jesus said "I've
come to you not in My
glory but as your friend
to tell you these things
are coming to pass on the
earth"
and He took us to the
side of the mountain and
told us to "Look
down". Several
thousand feet below us
black clouds
surrounded the mountain
where occasionally the
clouds would part and we
could see a great battle
waging below us,
swords glinting
in the sun." Then He
said "wait here for Me to
return." and the dream
ended.
I took Jesus' words to
mean, "stay hidden in Me
until My return." My
friend and brother in the
Lord as I wrote
mocked me as he
believes we are to battle
daily for the Lord which I
agree,
but unless we're
hidden in Jesus, any
battles WE wage are
meaningless.
Here is the scripture
the Lord impressed on me
Sunday morning of Aug 23,
2020,
and Steve not
knowing the Lord had done
so, quoted this EXACT SAME
verse later that
night of Aug 23,
2020 in our phone talk.
2 Chronicles: 20:16-17
".Thus saith
Jehovah unto you, Fear
not ye, neither be
dismayed by reason of
this great multitude;
for the
battle is not yours, but
God's. 16To-morrow
go ye down against them:
behold, they come up
by the
ascent of Ziz; and
ye shall find them at
the end of the valley,
before the wilderness of
Jeruel.
17
YOU
will not
need to fight in this
battle : set
yourselves, STAND
YE STILL,
and SEE the
salvation of
Jehovah who
is with
you, O Judah and
Jerusalem;
fear not,
nor be dismayed: TOMORROW go
out against them: for
Jehovah is with you."
God
Bless
