"are we in worse shape?"

Psalms 9:17 The wicked shall be turned into hell, and all the nations that forget God.

America is a nation.
America has forgotten the LORD
As a nation, are we in big trouble?

II Peter 2:7 And delivered just Lot, vexed with the filthy conversation of the wicked:
8 (For that righteous man dwelling among them, in seeing and hearing, vexed his righteous soul from day to day with their unlawful deeds;)

Most of us Laodicean period Christians don't vex our souls day to day with seeing and hearing the unlawful deeds,
but rather watch it on TV for entertainment.
So how many souls in America would be considered righteous to prevent our judgment?
When Abraham asked the LORD about 10 in Sodom,
he wasn't referring to imputed righteousness by faith, like the scriptures say about him, was he?
Or was he referring to those whose souls were vexed?
If all of Lot's family would have been like him, Sodom would have been spared.

Genesis 19:8a Behold now, I have two daughters which have not known man;
12 And the men said unto Lot, Hast thou here any besides? son in law, and thy sons, and thy daughters, and whatsoever thou hast in the city, bring them out of this place:
14 And Lot went out, and spake unto his sons in law, which married his daughters, and said, Up, get you out of this place; for the LORD will destroy this city. But he seemed as one that mocked unto his sons in law.

His sons, at least 2, mentioned in line 12    (2).
His two married daughters and their husbands (4).
His two daughters which had not known man  (2).
His wife   (1).
Himself   (1).

That makes 10, but they were not all like Lot.
His sons, sons-in-law, his married daughters, and his wife did not survive the judgment.

Are we in a worse national condition than Sodom was, the night that the angels showed up?
Sodom had less than the minimum to prevent judgment, so the LORD removed that minimum group, and then judged Sodom.
Can the same happen here, now?
(blessed hope removal)
People in the world, not yet saved by the time of the blessed hope, will go into the tribulation, and some of them will be saved then.
If the US is to be judged like Sodom, then as soon as people are pulled out,
would judgment fall immediately, without folks having time to be saved during the tribulation?
There is no record that Sodom was warned, like Nineveh, yet sudden destruction came upon them.
