Many translations render the word as "rebellion". The proof of the pudding is in the eating. A world-wide bunch of protests / rebellions are happening.
Many Christians are eyeing up Macron with suspicion - ever since he swept into Beirut with promises to rescue them. I am still shocked at the sheer brazen cheek of Macron. People would have had a belly laugh if Macron had tried this in normal times. It has taken a crisis of this magnitude for the Lebanese people to beg to be re colonised by France !!
