But fornication and all uncleanness or covetousness, let it not even be named among you (Christians), as this is not fitting for saints; neither filthiness, nor foolish talking, nor coarse jesting, which are not fitting but, rather the giving of thanks.
For this "you know", that no fornicator, unclean person, nor covetous man, who is an idolater, has any "inheritance" (CHRISTIAN....not about salvation but rewards) in the kingdom of Christ and God.
Let no one "deceive you" with EMPTY words, (we are ALL "worthy" of Christ - we are ALL.. His bride obedient or disobedient, faithful and unfaithful, repentant and unrepentant, soiled and unsoiled) for because of these things the wrath of God comes upon the sons of disobedience. (It could come upon you too if you do not repent)

Proverbs 3:11,12

The Lord disciplines EVERYONE He loves. He severely punishes  EVERYONE He accepts as His child."

Revelation 3:19
Those whom I love I rebuke and discipline.(no excuses) SO........ be earnest and repent.

Revelation 2:4,5
Yet I hold this against you: (Church - members)You have forsaken the love you had at first. Consider how far you have fallen! Repent and do the things you did at first. If you.... DO NOT (Christians) repent, I will come to you.... "and remove" your lampstand from its place.

Revelation 2:21-23 (to the Church)
I have given her (and My servants) time to repent of her (their) immorality, but she (they) are unwilling. So I will cast her on a bed of suffering, and I will make those who commit adultery with her suffer intensely, (Great Tribulation) UNLESS they repent of her ways. I will strike her children dead.
THEN...."all the churches" will know that I am He who searches hearts and minds, AND..... I will repay each of you "according to your deeds."

Revelation 2:3-4
WAKE UP! Strengthen what remains and is about to die, for I have found "your deeds unfinished" in the sight of My God.

REMEMBER, therefore, what you have received and heard; hold it fast, and REPENT. But.... IF YOU DO NOT wake up, I (Jesus) will come like a thief, and you will not know at what time I will come to you. Yet you have.... "a few people" in Sardis who have not soiled their clothes...

"THEY"........ will walk with Me, dressed in white, BECAUSE THEY (wake up, repent, hold fast) are "WORTHY".

Matthew 10:37,38 (worthy of heaven by His blood but not worthy of Him)
“Anyone who loves their father or mother more than Me (not His first love)  is not "WORTHY of Me"; anyone who loves their son or daughter more than me is not WORTHY of me. "WHOEVER does not" take up their cross and follow Me is NOT...."WORTHY of Me.' - Jesus

“I know all the things you do, (Church - believers) that you are neither hot nor cold. I wish that you were one or the other! But since you are like lukewarm water, neither hot nor cold, I will spit you out of my mouth! (NOT...His bride)

You say, ‘I am rich. I have everything I want. I don’t need a thing!’ And you don’t realize that you are wretched and miserable and poor and blind and naked. So I advise you to buy gold from me—gold that has been purified by fire. Then you will be rich. Also buy white garments from me so you will not be shamed by your nakedness, and ointment for your eyes so you will be able to see.

I correct and discipline EVERYONE I love. So be diligent and turn (repent) from your indifference.

“Look! I stand at the door and knock. If you hear my voice and open the door, I will come in, and we will share a meal together as friends.

THOSE "who are victorious" will..... sit with Me on my throne, just as I was victorious and sat with My Father on his throne. (His bride)

“Anyone with ears to hear must listen to the Spirit and understand what he is saying to the churches.”
