Fay, here is further proof that Jesus was is the process of confirming the unilateral, unconditional and eternal covenant that God made with Abraham. But before Jesus could confirm these covenant promises, Jesus was cut off in the midst of the 70th week, leaving just 3.5 years of Daniel’s seventy weeks prophecy remaining to be fulfilled.

The fathers are referring to Abraham, Isaac and Jacob.
