WHEN THE RESTRAINER, WHO IS SATAN, IS TAKEN OUT OF THE WAY BY BEING CAST OUT OF HEAVEN..........

Scripture tells us that when the restrainer, who is Satan, is taken out of the way by him being cast down to earth, that event allows the rapture to happen. This same event also begins the Great Tribulation on earth which is ended by the Second Coming of the Lord. Here is what the Scriptures say about the length of the time-period of the Great Tribulation before Jesus ends it at His Second Coming :

Daniel 7:25

"He shall speak pompous words against the Most High, shall persecute the saints of the Most High, shall intend to change time and law. Then the saints shall be given into his hand FOR A TIME, TIMES, AND HALF A TIME."

Revelation 13:5-7

"He was given a mouth speaking great things and blasphemies, and he was given authority TO CONTINUE FOR FORTY-TWO MONTHS . It was granted to him to make war with the saints."

Immediately after Satan is cast out of Heaven by Michael, Jesus raptures His Church – the body of Christ. The ‘saints’ in Daniel 7:25 and Revelation 13:7 are referring to the tribulation saints.

In Scripture, BOTH "a time, times, and half a time" AND  "forty-two months" are the same as 3 1/2 years. Therefore, according to the Scriptures, the Great Tribulation is NOT SEVEN YEARS IN LENGTH, but rather it IS THREE AND ONE-HALF YEARS IN LENGTH.
