Glaring Signs of an Imminent Rapture
By Carl Worline
This article is going to deal with signs of an imminent rapture
and it is not going to go into the re-birth of the nation of
Israel, fig trees, or the length of a Biblical generation.
Those are topics that have (proverbially) already been beaten to
death. We are surrounded with so many signs that we are on
the cusp of the departure of the Church that we have become
numb. As I have often said in the past, there are so many
signs along the way that we are traveling that it has become
almost impossible to see the road ahead of us.
God wrote an internationally best-selling book that devoted a
disproportionally large portion of itself to what we should both
look for and what we should expect to see in the Last
Days. For example, in the last chapter of the Book of
Daniel, the prophet Daniel told the angel Gabriel that he did
not understand what he was told to write down. Gabriel
told Daniel to write it all down, seal it up, and not to
worry. Mankind would understand in the Last Days (Daniel
12:4-10). We are in those Last Days.
First of all, God is doing everything He can think of to get our
attention and to warn us that we need to repent and turn back to
Him because the current dispensation is about to end and the
rules are about to change. The Messiah is knocking at the
door. The free gift of salvation through faith in Jesus as
the Christ is about to end and the gates of heaven are about to
slam shut. God is literally screaming at us, trying to get
our attention while still observing His promise of granting us
free will.
How is God screaming at us?
• Freakish weather.
• Strange sounds from nowhere coming to us
from all over the world.
• Animal die-offs all over the planet.
• A huge uptick in earthquakes in both
frequency and intensity.
• A huge uptick in volcanic activity.
• Wildfires
• Tsunami’s
• I would also go so far as to point out a
huge uptick in UFO activity.
• God is also firing warning shots from the
heavens across our bow. It seems like every few weeks we
read of yet another asteroid that narrowly missed the Earth.
God told us in the first chapter of the first book of the Bible
(Genesis 1:14) that He put the sun, moon and stars in the
heavens “for them to be for signs, and for seasons, and for days
and years.” He used the heavens to announce the arrival of
our Messiah approximately 2000 years ago and it would seem that
He is doing the same thing now. In the past few years we
have seen a myriad of events in the heavens that would suggest
that something big is about to happen in human history once
again. Among these were tetrads of blood moons occurring
on significant Jewish religious holidays and The Great American
Eclipse on August 21, 2017, that seemed to be a direct warning
to the United States.
The last book of the Bible is the Book of Revelation. It
is devoted exclusively to the time frame we refer to as the Last
Days. Chapter 12 of that book deals with an alignment of
stars and constellations describing the rapture of the
Church. Astronomers tell us that this particular alignment
has never occurred before in all of human history and will never
occur again. The Biblical prophecy of this astronomical
alignment was fulfilled on September 23, 2017. Could there
possibly be a clearer sign from God to mankind that the rapture
of the Church is about to occur?
A man has appeared on the scene who is evil and could very
easily become the prophesied False Prophet. He already has
multiple millions of followers and is the leader of the Catholic
Church. He has the wealth of the Catholic Church at his
disposal to carry out his evil agenda. This is a man who
is telling us that there are many paths to God and to salvation,
and who is condoning many of the vilest sins that are spelled
out in the Bible. What is even more frightening is his
continuing efforts to create a one-world religion.
The Bible tells us how the anti-Christ will be revealed.
He will confirm a covenant that will be a peace treaty between
Israel and the rest of the nations. Is it just a coincidence
that the entire world is now fixated upon and anxiously awaiting
the yet to be released Trump peace plan? Furthermore, is
it just a coincidence that each time the United States proceeds
with secret negotiations with the nations of the Middle East, it
is struck with a major natural disaster? I do not think
that God approves of Donald Trump’s attempt to divide His land
in the name of peace. I do believe that Trump’s peace plan
is the covenant spoken of in Daniel 9:27. The timing is just too
perfect. The Bible seems to indicate that the rapture will
take place immediately prior to the confirmation of this
covenant.
I am not saying that Donald Trump will be the anti-Christ.
Far from it. The Bible says that the anti-Christ will
confirm a covenant with the many. It does not say that he
will be the author of the covenant. If I were a betting
man, I would put my money on Barak Obama as the
anti-Christ. This is just a personal guess.
Personally, I believe that Obama is the sixth king and the
eighth king spoken of in Revelation 17:10-11.
The above chart was created by someone other than myself. All
credit for it goes to that anonymous person.
The world’s economy is a proverbial house of cards that is
teetering on the brink of collapse. Our most respected
economists often speculate as to how it could have survived this
long. When the world’s economy finally does collapse it
will, most certainly, be replaced by a one-world economy.
I wonder, could Bitcoin be a prototype of a one-world currency??
Although some might argue, most of us in the eschatology
community believe that the rapture of the Church will occur
immediately prior to a period of tribulation that will be so
severe that there has never been anything close to it in the
past or will ever be anything like it in the future.
Conditions on the earth will be horrible beyond our
comprehension. One of these conditions will, most
certainly, be famine.
The rapture can and will occur in an instant. All God has
to do is pull the trigger. On the other hand, a world-wide
famine will take a little time to set up. I believe that
we are seeing that happen today.
Up until now God has blessed America by allowing us to produce
food for not only ourselves, but for much of the world as
well. In recent months flooding, tornados, and hail on a
scale never before seen has destroyed a significant portion of
our agricultural production as well as the animals we rely upon
for food. Produce that we have stored from past years has
also been destroyed by these unprecedented storms.
This is true for all of the nations of the world as well to one
degree or another. Flooding, drought, and disease have
been working together to produce a “perfect storm” of factors
for a worldwide famine. The scope of this catastrophe is
still being analyzed, but one thing is certain. Millions
of people are going to be affected. An incredibly large
number of people from all over the world will suffer from
this.
The Bible goes into great detail as to the political alignment
of all of the nations of the Middle East in the Last Days.
That alignment has finally come into place for the first time in
all of history. The rapture of the Church has to happen in
the immediate future because this political alignment is highly
fluid and is almost certain to change in the near future.
When it changes, the chances of it returning to its current
alignment are so infinitesimally small as to be non-existent.
Jesus told us in Luke 21: 9-10 that one of the signs to look for
in the Last Days would be wars and rumors of war. Is this
not the case today throughout the entire world?? We have
often been told to look at the nation of Israel if we want to
know where we are on God’s calendar. Is Israel being
threatened with war and the rumors of war??
In Matthew 24:11 Jesus said that one of the signs of the Last
Days would be the rise of many false prophets and that these
false prophets would deceive many. This prophecy has
certainly been fulfilled by our modern-day YouTube and the
internet, as well as many other similar venues.
In Luke 21:11 Jesus told us that one of signs of the End Times
would be pestilence. New diseases continue to pop up while
other diseases that we thought were eradicated are
resurrected. Diseases are often extremely difficult to
contain and often travel with great ease. Their virility
can change in a moment by the mutation of a single gene.
The list of these diseases is not only extensive, but is
constantly growing. A few examples in recent news include:
• Ebola
• Dengue Fever
• Candida Auris
• Various forms of the plague
• A new polio like disease
• AIDS
• Flesh eating bacteria
• Hanta virus
• SARS
• West Nile
• Bird and swine flu
• Cholera
• H1N(X) series
Jesus told us in Matthew 24:6 that another sign of the End Times
would be a huge uptick in Christian persecution. According
to the World Watch List by Open Doors, 215 million Christians
“experience high, very high, or extreme persecution” in our
world with Islamic extremism being the dominant driver of this
fanatical hatred toward our God. This equates to 1 out of
every 12 Christians in the world living in conditions where
their faith is “illegal, forbidden, or punished.”
The Bible tells us that in the Last Days there will be a
one-world government. This, I personally believe, will
come into being immediately after (and as a result of) the
rapture. Already, we are seeing the extreme pollution of
our political system as that system crumbles away from
within. I can recall a time in America when being a
Senator or Congressman was considered to be an honorable
profession. Now it seems all I hear about on the news are
reports about the mass psychotic rage against our
president. Corruption is everywhere in our government.
In order for a one world government to come into existence the
mightiest nation in the world must fall. How will that
happen?? The following is a quote (and a prophecy I
believe) from one of our greatest presidents:
From whence shall we expect the approach of danger? Shall some
trans-Atlantic military giant step the earth and crush us at a
blow? Never. All the armies of Europe and Asia...could not by
force take a drink from the Ohio River or make a track on the
Blue Ridge in the trial of a thousand years. No, if destruction
be our lot, we must ourselves be its author and finisher. As a
nation of free men, we will live forever or die by
suicide. Abraham Lincoln
Mankind has finally achieved the technology described in various
books of the Bible. A few examples that stand out the most
to me would include:
• Implantable RFID chips are now available for
all of mankind to take the mark of the beast in either their
hand or their forehead.
• Just as described in the last chapter of the
Book of Daniel, we now travel back and forth upon the earth
(Daniel 12:4). I just read where flightradar24.com
reported a record 225,000 flights in a single day (July 24,
2019).
• Just as also described in the last chapter
of the Book of Daniel, knowledge has increased and continues to
increase geometrically Daniel 12:4). Conservative
estimates tell us that the sum of humanities knowledge doubles
every 18 months.
• Today information travels at the speed of
light. When the apostle John wrote the Book of Revelation,
information traveled at the speed of a donkey and by horseback.
• God wrote the genetic code of all forms of
life. We have penetrated the firewalls that has protected
that code for past millenniums and we are now tampering with
that very code. Japan just announced it has lifted the
prohibition of mixing human an animal DNA for scientific
research. Let us not forget that the main reason God
destroyed all life on the earth in the flood was because fallen
angels and mankind committed the sin of polluting that genetic
code.
• God created all life. We have now
created computers that (I believe) have become self-aware.
To become self-aware is to become alive. I cannot believe
that God will allow us to progress much father in the endeavor.
• Jesus told us in Matthew 24:14 that the end
would come when the gospel would be preached to all the nations
of the world. Satellite TV has certainly fulfilled that
prophecy.
God has made it crystal clear in His book that He finds sexual
perversion to be particularly offensive. Sexual perversion
comes in many shapes and forms. Each is a crime against
God and nature and yet each has thrived in recent years.
How can we explain this as other than evil supernatural
intervention? God has also revealed to us that abusing
children in any manner is also particularly offensive to
Him. Is it any wonder that while flourishing, the LGBTQ+
movement has been laser focused on indoctrinating our children
from their youngest ages into their filthy lifestyle?
Likewise, Satan has been focused on sexually corrupting our
clergy with unspeakable depravity.
The world still reels at the thought of 6 million Jews killed in
the holocaust of WWII, as it rightfully should. Such a
massacre is beyond the ability of our imagination to
comprehend. However, since the landmark decision of Roe v.
Wade in 1973, well over 60 million human beings have been killed
in just the United States alone. This is an atrocity
larger than the Jewish holocaust by a factor or more than ten by
just our nation alone. Imagine the scope of the sin of our
world when we consider abortion in all of the nations of this
world. We stand before God with the blood of the most
innocent dripping from our collective hands. I feel a
strong sense of foreboding that the world will be punished with
the wrath of God that will be more terrible and more extensive
than any war or any natural disaster that has ever occurred in
the past, or will ever occur in the future because of this sin.
Satan is the prince of this world (John 12:31, 14:30) and he
roams the earth seeking those he might devour (1 Peter
5:8). He is filled with fury because he knows his time is
short (Revelation 12:12). Everywhere we look, evil is
becoming stronger and darker. A spirit of lawlessness has
descended upon us (Luke 17:26 and 2 Timothy 3-15). Jesus
warned us that one of the signs of the Last Days would be the
love of many growing cold (Matthew 24:12). Although
invisible, this tangible perception of an evil presence all
around us becomes noticeably stronger with each passing
day. We may not be able to see it, but we can certainly
feel it.
Something big is about to happen. We are all aware of
it. Even the mockers and the scoffers cannot escape the
feeling. They have turned from laughter to anger at the
mere mention of the word “rapture.” I have observed that
even the animals seem to be acting strangely. There are
glaring signs of an imminent rapture lurking everywhere about
us.
The Bible tells us that God does nothing without first revealing
it to His servants, the prophets (Amos 3:7). Everything
that God set forth in His book will happen exactly as He said
that it would. There will be a rapture of the
Church. There will also be a period of tribulation that
will be so horrible that it will be beyond description and our
imagination. There is nothing that we can do to stop
it. All we can do is to prepare. The time left to
accept the free gift of salvation through faith in Jesus as The
Christ is rapidly shrinking. Are you prepared?
