The month of Elul on the Jewish calendar is beginning!    At the end of this month is Rosh Hashanah, the Feast of Trumpets, which begins the secular new year and the month of Tishri.    Maybe THIS year the Rapture?????   We don't know, but we wait in anticipation.   Israel is in her 70th year right now, and we know "this generation shall not pass" without all end time events fulfilled.   Israel is chomping at the bit to build the Third Temple, but the Rapture / "sudden destruction" must happen first before Third Temple construction can begin.   I believe very strongly that after the Rapture the Daniel 9:27 covenant will encompass the formation of a Palestinian State in trade for Israel's right to build the Third Temple.   What might set off the "sudden destruction" associated with the Rapture?   Israel would love to take out the Iranian nuclear sites before Iran can mount nukes on missiles.   There are many rumors floating around that Israel is planning such an attack.   If so, Hezbollah in Lebanon would likely attack Israel, and this would "snow ball" in many directions with the Rapture concurrent.
