Who do they think that they are worshipping?

Do they think that they are worshipping God?

Revelation 13:4a And they worshipped the dragon which gave power unto the beast: 

Or do they realize that is Satan & worship him?

Or are the dragon and Allah one and the same?

i.e. are dragon worshippers islamic?

Who will people think that the beast is?

  the mahdi?

  Israel's messiah?

  God in the flesh?

  the son of God?

  Satan in the flesh?

  the son of Satan?

  the son of Allah?

  Jesus already returned?

  just a great political leader?

  just a miracle man?

  Nimrod?

  Apollo?

  Judas?

I ask, because the world will worship him:

Revelation 13:4b   and they worshipped the beast, saying, Who is like unto the beast?

A person is worshipped, not an empire.

Also, his number is the number of a man, not the number of an empire:

Revelation 13:18 Here is wisdom. Let him that hath understanding count the number of the beast: for it is the number of a man; and his number is Six hundred threescore and six.
