LAW         
of
Sowing & Reaping

     "Be not deceived; God is not mocked: for whatsoever a man soweth, that shall he also reap.
     For he that soweth to his flesh shall of the flesh reap corruption; but he that soweth to the Spirit shall of the Spirit reap life everlasting."  Galatians 6:7-8.

     "Cry aloud, spare not, lift up thy voice like a trumpet, and shew My people their transgression, and the house of Jacob their sins," Isaiah 58:1.   
Introduction
     The Scripture text for this study clearly states that "whatsoever a man soweth," that is the crop they will reap.   In the creation account in Genesis 1, it is repeated ten times that everything God had created should bring forth "after his kind."  "10" is the number in the Bible which signifies, "LAW."  Therefore, right from the beginning, the Lord God established the Law of sowing and reaping.  If one plants wheat seed, they will reap a crop of wheat; if turnip seed, turnips, if onion seed, onions, and if apple seed, an apple tree.  This is an established "Law of God;" that every seed sown reproduces "after his kind."  The Apostle Paul applied this same truth to the works of mankind in Galatians 6:7-8.   
     This is the subject matter of this study, and it's application to both men, nations, and peoples living in these present "last days."  
The Application of This Law  
     This Law of Reproduction applies to mankind, just as it does to the plants, birds, and animals.  When a woman gives birth to a baby, that infant child is a human being; not a monkey or a bird or a fish.  
     However, this Law applies not only to reproduction, but it also applies to the works that men do during their lifetime.  Our text Scriptures make it quite clear that "the works of the flesh" are corruptible works, and will result in reaping a corruptible harvest.  Read Rev. 20:15.  
     But on the other hand, the true believer whose works are done in the Spirit and power of God, can expect to reap "everlasting" life.  Glory to God!  
All of Man's Works are not Acceptable to God
     This truth should be evident to every reader from the account of Cain and Abel set forth in Genesis 4:1-7.       
      When God gave His Law for Israel to Moses at Mt. Sinai, the Lord divided the living creatures; birds and animals, into two categories; the clean and the unclean.  See Leviticus 11. The Lord God did this for several reasons.  
     [1]  Only those birds and animals which were "clean" were to be eaten by the children of Israel.  
     [2]  Only those birds and animals which were "clean" were to be offered as a sacrifice to the Lord.
     [3]  This division between the "clean" and the "unclean" was obviously to maintain the health and welfare of the children of Israel, but also......
     [4]   To impress upon mankind the truth that some things in this present life are "clean" and acceptable to  God, and some things in this life are "unclean" and will not be accepted by God.  Mankind living on the earth is expected by God to learn the difference.        
 The Laws of Almighty God
     As "born again" New Testament believers, living under "Grace," rather than Law, why should we be concerned with the laws given to Israel?  I'm so glad you asked!
     Why?  Because some of  these Laws given to Israel, just make good sense to those of us who are New Covenant believers.  The hygenic laws, for instance.  It is highly likely, that the almost total disgard of these hygenic laws by people living today, has resulted in all kinds of diseases and sicknesses, and even death.   Galatians 6:7-8 is still in the Bible.  
     I am sometimes asked why, since we New Covenant believers are not  under the Law God gave to Israel, do we still have the Old Testament in our Bibles?  Why not just study and read the New Testament, and disregard the Old Testament?    
     My answer is that, the laws given to Israel, reveal to us New Covenant believers how the Lord God feels about different things that we are confronted with today. I can therefore study the Old Testament Scriptures and know how our "unchangeable God" [Malachi 3:6; James 1:17] regards a matter. This knowledge then equips me to live in a manner which is pleasing to the Lord God.   Hello!         
     Most of mankind today knows that these laws  exist, are quite real, and must not be violated, or mankind will suffer  the consequences.  
     Folks, every action results in a reaction.  Every word one speaks is heard by someone, Matthew 12:36-37.  Even every thought of one's mind is weighed in the balances of the Lord God,  Proverbs 16:2-3.  This is why Philippians 4:8 is in the Bible.  All of the things we do, say, or even think, are seed being sown!  And what kind of harvest will result from the seed we are sowing?  Think about it!  
The Present World Situation
     Since Christ came into the world some 2,000 years ago, giving us  visible proof of God's existence, mankind on the earth has given a grudging acknowledgment of God, while at the same time has drifted farther and farther away from the light and truth of God's Word.        
      The major interest of mankind throughout this present dispensation, appears to have been the development of technology, the waging of wars, the acquisition of more territory, the struggle for more economic and political power, and the establishment of all kinds of religious organizations, almost to the total ignoring of God.  And it shows!
The Seed America has Sown
    Several times in the Scriptures, certain events in human history are clearly stated to have occurred as examples for mankind.  This shows   how gracious the Lord God is towards mankind, in giving them examples that would hopefully keep them from committing the same sins and wickedness for which mankind has been judged and punished in the past.  For example.......
      See Jude 7.   In this passage we are explicitly told that the judgment of God upon Sodom and Gomorrah was "set forth for an example" for all of mankind, that all future generations of man on the earth, might learn not to do such evils as the people in Sodom and Gomorrah were doing.  But what have the American people done with this example?
     Today in America, we see the very evils that were being practiced in Sodom and Gomorrah, "legalized" by our own corrupt government, and these same sins are now commonly practiced all over this nation.    
     It was in 1973 that the Supreme Court of the United States of America "legalized" the cold-blooded, premeditated, MURDER of the  innocent unborn, which is commonly referred to today as "abortion." Since the "legalization" of abortion, according to those who keep statistics on such wickedness, Americans have callously murdered 65 million innocent unborn babies.  Do our readers think this is bad?  What do you supposed Almighty God thinks about it?
     We don't have to guess about this?  The Lord God severely judged His own chosen people of Israel for offering their new born babies to the false god of Molech.  See Levitus 18 and 20, 1 Kings 11:7, 2 Kings 23:10, and Jeremiah 32:35.  Israel as a people sowed the seed of "baby killing," and reaped the crop of seeing their own babies killed when their nation was invaded by the Assyrians, the Babylonians, and the Romans.  
     Oh, by the way, the Law of sowing and reaping, is that the reaping is always much more and larger than the seed sown.  Always!   
     But the killing of the innocent unborn, was not sufficient for America's immoral Supreme Court.  Again in 1978 the Supreme Court  "legalized" the practice of homosexuality, and ultimately homosexual "marriage."  Folks, Leviticus, chapters 18 and 20 are still in the Bible, telling mankind exactly what God Almighty thinks of these "abominable" practices.  But did the Supreme Court care, or even consider the morality of such wicked "legalization?"  The answer to this question is glaringly obvious!  
       Do the citizens of America really think Almighty God has been ignoring such wickedness, as the nation and people of America have been flaunting in His face for now the past 45 years?  If so, just keep reading.......
America is the Nation Which Sowed
 the Seed of Destruction by Fire
     The year was 1945.  The Second World War was still going on, and the politicians in Washington thought it was time to bring it to an end.  So they dropped the Atomic Bomb [which should have never been invented] on Hiroshima and Nagasaki, Japan.  In an instant of time 60,000 of the Japanese people were instantly consumed by the fires of that bomb, and several thousand more later died from the burns and radiation from the explosion of the bomb.  Two days later a second Atomic bomb was dropped on Nagasaki.  More than 150,000 people were consumed and fried in the flames of those two bombs.  Even today the horror of it is hard to contemplate.  
     Yes, the dropping of those bombs did bring the Second World War to an end.  But has any reader ever considered that it was not necessary?
     Our American military had already driven the Japanese forces from all the islands in the Pacific, and was in a perfect position to invade the mainland of Japan.  Any honest military strategist knows that Japan would have immediately surrendered, rather than having their whole nation destroyed.    
   But the American scientists who invented that damnable weapon of destruction were determined that it should be used, and so it was!  But this did not satisify the evolutionary scientists. They still wanted to play "God."  They continued right on with their research, until they came up with a nuclear bomb, which is estimated to be hundreds of times more powerful than the Atomic bomb.
      Of course the government assured the public, and other nations of the world, that these weapons would never be used again in war.  The story our government has given, is that no nation would ever dare use them in war again for fear of retaliation.  Oh!  If any reader believes that story, please contact me at once.  I have a wonderful "deal" for you to purchase a rare pig that flies backwards and upside down.   Sic!  
America's Time of Reaping
     As I write the problem with North Korea's development of nuclear energy has been front page news daily for several months.  North Korea is solidly a Communist nation with a Communist ruler.  They have  developed nuclear energy, and according to reports, a nuclear bomb.  They have also been feverishly working on the development of  rocket powered missiles which are capable of carrying nuclear bombs to wherever they want them exploded.  
     These development so alarmed the U.S. Atomic Energy Commission, our U.S. government, and the government of South Korea, that they proposed negotiating with North Korea about this situation, and so we did!  Our U.S. President has met with North Korea's Communist ruler, and has carried out such negotiations.  At this present time, the American public has been "assured" that North Korea has only developed nuclear energy "for peaceful purposes."  Sic!
     I remind our readers that the goal of the Bolshevik Communists who overthrew the government of Russia in 1917, was to impose Communism upon the whole world, and thereby create a Communist World Empire.  Has that goal ever changed? Do you suppose Communist Russia, Communist China, and Communist North Korea have changed their minds about imposing Communism upon the world?
     Folks, I do not have confidence in anything a Communist promises to anyone.  Communism itself is a stinking Satanic lie, John 8:44.   
     Folks, the allied forces of Communist Russia, Communist China, and now Communist North Korea, could raise an army which the rest of the nations of the world would be unable to stand against.  Think about it!    
     As I write, American news media has reported that North Korea now has rocket powered missiles which can reach 5,000 miles or more.  This means that their missiles can easily reach the west coast of America, but possibly even into mid America.  And yes, it was America that sowed fire upon Japan, and it is America which is going to reap a fiery death as a nation and people.   Are our readers awake yet?
The Spiritual Situation in America Today
      I don't have to go into all the intimate details of how the American people are living today, even while God's righteous judgment is staring mankind all over the earth in the face.   Just let our readers turn and read 2 Timothy 3:1-7, and everything written there in the inspired Word of God perfectly describes America today as a nation and a people.  There is nothing I need to add to the description.   
     This means that America's harvest is now ripe, and the time of reaping is swiftly approaching.  It may come at any minute of any day now!  However.......
The Deliverance of the Remnant
     Turn and read Luke 17:28-30. By the grace of God, there is a "remnant" of true believers in these United States of America.  Notice that the Lord Jesus Himself clearly stated that the very day He is revealed, will be just like it was "in the days of Lot."  The "same day" that righteous Lot [2 Peter 2:7-8] was taken out of Sodom, fire fell from out of the heavens and the inhabitants of Sodom were consumed.  
     I have believed for many years that the coming of the Lord to resurrect and rapture His blood bought Church [Acts 20:28], and all true believers to Himself, will occur just in the nick of time to keep us from being destroyed by the incorrigible wicked, or by the terrible judgments to be poured out upon unbelieving wicked mankind left beind on the earth during the Tribulation.  Christ Jesus is the true believer's "Prince," and He is coming to snatch His betrothed Bride out of the path of imminent danger.  Glory to God!  Hallelujah!   Praise the Lord!  
     Yes!  I am a pre-millennial, pre-tribulationist, and I have no apology to make to any reader for being so.  Is this stated clearly enough?   
Conclusion
     Dear readers, the day of reaping for America, and for all of mankind living on the earth today, is right at the doors, Matthew 24:33.  Are you ready?  Are you truly saved by the grace of God?  Read Ephesians 2:8-10.  Do you have assurance of salvation?  Read 2 Peter 1:10-11.
     Are your friends, neighbors, and loved ones ready?  If you are a true believer, are you witnessing and praying like the Lord instructed His people to do?  Read Acts 1:8.  And are you faithfully "watching" for the coming of our beloved Savior?  Read Luke 12:37.  
     You, dear readers, have the message and burden the Lord has laid upon my heart to share with His people, and with lost seeking souls.  May God bless His Word to the heart and mind of every reader.
