Yes - the news re the UK is dire. However, I've learned to not get my blood pressure up too much as the media are full of hyperbole. Winding us all up. If one believed everything in the media, one would stick one's head in the oven! They scrape the barrel for news and sensationalize every single thing. They have to sell their product, after all. It's evil, but we can be wise and not allow it to induce a nervous breakdown. For example, I keep reading about drag queens reading stories to children in libraries but have yet to hear one person with first hand experience of seeing it. It's a ridiculous piece of "nothing burger". There are still zillions of good people out there ... in spite of what you read in the media. Man.... those oiks are going to pay for this in the after-life!!
