It’s been 50 years since I read Velikovsky. I ploughed through all of his books, not to mention his numerous news columns and essays, multiple times.

The name of Velikovski remains anathema to the academic establishment. Its very mention can produce life threatening apoplexy. The academic establishment was so fear struck by his work  that they presented his publisher with a choice: Either cease and desist immediately from publishing Velikovski or lose, forever and ever, in this world or any world, any and all textbook rights and contracts. They folded forthwith.

Many of Velikovski’s theories have been proven correct. Many academicians have built careers RE-DISCOVERING tiny fragments of what he first postulated. The same NEVER, EVER SO MUCH AS MENTION HIS NAME WHILE PRESENTING WHAT THEY PURPORT TO BE “ORIGINAL RESEARCH”. 

The Hezekiah GOD-encounter is a case in point. Velikovski’s exposition stand head and shoulders above anything I’ve seen published on the subject. Yet, he is granted not so much as a footnote in all that I’ve read.

Velikovski has been my intellectual hero for most of my life. He is one of the great minds of the 20th century.

go read Velikovski for more info... He put it all  together back in the 1950s…and was thrown out of Harvard & banned in Boston !!!
