TWICE in the New Testament we hear Jesus talk about Jonah......and Noah.....in connection with the "Signs of His Return."  His 2nd Coming....

ONE:  Matthew 12:38 

The Sign of Jonah

³⁸ Then some of the Pharisees and teachers of the law said to him, “Teacher, we want to see a sign from you.”

³⁹ He answered, “A wicked and adulterous generation asks for a sign! But none will be given it except the sign of the prophet Jonah. ⁴⁰ For as Jonah was three days and three nights in the belly of a huge fish, so the Son of Man will be three days and three nights in the heart of the earth. ⁴¹ The men of Nineveh will stand up at the judgment with this generation and condemn it; for they repented at the preaching of Jonah, and now something greater than Jonah is here. 

and.....

TWO:   Matthew 24: 3 and 36-44.....Jesus talks about Noah's time, just before His 2nd Coming........

³ As Jesus was sitting on the Mount of Olives, the disciples came to him privately. “Tell us,” they said, “when will this happen, and what will be the sign of your coming and of the end of the age?”

The Day and Hour Unknown

³⁶ “But about that day or hour no one knows, not even the angels in heaven, nor the Son,^[f] but only the Father.

³⁷ As it was in the days of Noah, so it will be at the coming of the Son of Man.

³⁸ For in the days before the flood, people were eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage, up to the day Noah entered the ark; ³⁹ and they knew nothing about what would happen until the flood came and took them all away. That is how it will be at the coming of the Son of Man. ⁴⁰ Two men will be in the field; one will be taken and the other left. ⁴¹ Two women will be grinding with a hand mill; one will be taken and the other left.

⁴² “Therefore keep watch, because you do not know on what day your Lord will come.

⁴³ But understand this: If the owner of the house had known at what time of night the thief was coming, he would have kept watch and would not have let his house be broken into.

⁴⁴ So you also must be ready, because the Son of Man will come at an hour when you do not expect him.

WHAT TIME FRAME did Noah give Nineveh to repent????

(Jonah 3:1-2). When Jonah finally arrived in Nineveh Scripture says he spoke what God told him to......

(3:2). He cried out and said: “Yet forty days, and Nineveh shall be overthrown!”

HEAR THAT???   40 Days*********************

So, do the day-count starting on the Great American date of the full solar eclipse:

August 21.......to  Rosh Hashanah is 30 days.

August 21.......to  Yom Kippur is 40 days.  *******************

What is the period in between Rosh Hashanah to Yom Kippur called?       10 DAYS OF AWE !           It is a time for the Jews to REPENT.  

The Shabbat during this time is a special Holy Day Saturday service known as:    Shabbat Shuva.......or, The Sabbath of RETURN.    (Return to God) 

  

IS IT A COINCIDENCE THAT ALL OF THIS TAKES PLACE WITHIN 40 DAYS FORM THE GREAT AMERICAN ECLIPSE?

REMEMBER:    MANY, MANY JEWS STILL LIVE IN THE UNITED STATES.....AND HAVE NOT RETURNED TO ISRAEL......YET.......

30 days after the eclipse is Rosh Hashanah

40 days after the eclipse is Yom Kippur. 

The 10 Days of Awe...... begins on Rosh Hashanah and runs until Yom Kippur....

The Jewish service on the Saturday during the 10 Days of Awe......is September 23.......the Day ALOT OF US ARE WATCHING because of "the sign of Revelation 12" !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

IF...................................Jesus Christ calls His Bride Home during Rosh Hashanah,  Sept 20-22.....or on Sept 23........thus fulfilling the 1st of the Fall Jewish Feasts.....

and....

IF the Tribulation "starts" after the 10 Days of Awe on Yom Kippur.....

then the ONLY Fall Feast to remaining to be fulfilled would be the Feast of Tabernacles.....which would/could be fulfilled 7 years later  !!!! ????   

COINCIDENCE ???    I think not.....I HOPE NOT......

Let me close with this....1 Thessalonians 5:  1-10   "THOSE WHO WATCH.....WILL KNOW!"    (Jesus scolded the religious men of His day for NOT KNOWING the "time of His 1st Coming!"  

The Day of the Lord

5 Now, brothers and sisters, about times and dates we do not need to write to you, ² for you know very well that the day of the Lord will come like a thief in the night. ³ While people are saying, “Peace and safety,” destruction will come on them suddenly, as labor pains on a pregnant woman, and they will not escape.

⁴ But you, brothers and sisters, are not in darkness so that this day should surprise you like a thief. ⁵ You are all children of the light and children of the day. We do not belong to the night or to the darkness. ⁶ So then, let us not be like others, who are asleep, but let us be awake and sober.

⁷ For those who sleep, sleep at night, and those who get drunk, get drunk at night.

⁸ But since we belong to the day, let us be sober, putting on faith and love as a breastplate, and the hope of salvation as a helmet.

(HERE:    The Rapture of the Church MUST happen.....before the 7 year Tribulation and Judgement of the Unbelieving World!!)

 

⁹ For God did not appoint us to suffer wrath but to receive salvation through our Lord Jesus Christ. ¹⁰ He died for us so that, whether we are awake or asleep, we may live together with him.

¹¹ Therefore encourage one another and build each other up, just as in fact you are doing.

WE WHO ARE WATCHING TODAY.......CERTAINLY KNOW THE TIMES IN WHICH WE LIVE......AND THAT WE ARE AT "THE END OF THE AGE......"   AS ISRAEL TURNS 70 IN THE COMING YEAR.     THIS IS......THIS MUST.....BE THE GENERATION THAT WILL SEE THE RETURN OF LORD JESUS CHRIST:

Matthew 24:  32-35  ("The Lesson of the Fig Tree".......which is the Re-Birth of Israel in 1948!!)  

³² “Now learn this lesson from the fig tree: As soon as its twigs get tender and its leaves come out, you know that summer is near.  (meaning, Israel's re-birth!)  

³³ Even so, when you see all these things, you know that it^[e] is near, right at the door.

³⁴ Truly I tell you, this generation will certainly not pass away until all these things have happened.

³⁵ Heaven and earth will pass away, but my words will never pass away.

Dear God......is anyone else getting excited?????

The whole country of America.....is excited beyond belief about this Full Solar Eclipse....and (for the most part....) .....NO ONE IS Watching for the Return of Jesus Christ in the next 30-40 days.

"As it was in the Days of Noah......."   Matthew 24:
