"Be Ready "Against" The Third Day "Exodus 19:11 and 15""

Hello Pastor Mike
It is a cloudy morning today and we are set to have a 90% chance of rain.
While drinking my morning coffee on the porch, I was brought to mind of the Sabbath day. How it is that the Sabbath was made for man, not man for the Sabbath. How it was back in the days of the Israelites in the wilderness. How our Lord Jesus himself was that bread from heaven. How it was that they were to gather twice as much on the 6th day. How it is that we shall also receive a double portion of that bread of life,(our Bible, the bread of life and the manna from heaven) in the 6th day as comparing the above to the gospel of Jesus Christ., which is our salvation from hunger and the water of life which is refreshing.

We sit today at the evening of the 6th day and the morning of the Sabbath is upon us. It has been 2 thousand years from our Lord ascending up into heaven. When the Lord said to the Israelites in the wilderness; Be ready against the third day: for the third day the LORD himself "will" come down "in the sight of all the people upon mount Sinai."
When in verse 15 of chapter 19 of Exodus, this is added: "come not at your wives"
I wondered upon that statement.
I believe it is there because the Lord wanted the people not to be distracted from the glory which was to come. Something in which God made a command to be fruitful and multiply, NOW the people were told to restrain from.
To put away the desires of the flesh. To meditate upon his glorious appearing upon the mount. To give him their full attention. He comes down in the sight of all the people according to verse 11 of chapter 19.
I relate this to Matthew and Luke, where they state; Matthew 24:30
And "then" shall appear the "sign" of the Son of man in heaven(:) and "then" shall "all" the tribes of the earth mourn, and "they" SHALL SEE the Son of man coming "in" the clouds "of heaven" WITH power and great glory.
And in Luke 21:27 And "then" shall they see the Son of man coming IN "A" CLOUD with power and great glory.
In the Exodus account above the LORD came down upon mount Sinai in "A" cloud of smoke and the mount was on fire of smoke.
Smoke is a cloud. A picture of his SECOND coming down from heaven to the children of Israel in the Last Great Day.
The Gentile is never referred to as tribes of the earth in my KJV. Always it is the children of Israel.
Our catching away is not our LORD"S second coming. He does not set his feet upon the earth in our gathering together IN the clouds. We are caught up from the grave first and then we who are alive at his coming IN the clouds.
Israel will not hear the last trump sounding of the trumpet of gathering of the saints. To Israel and the world, it will be a "silent bell."
But...Israel will hear the voice of the Archangel Michael. according to 1 Thessalonians 4:16 . The voice of the archangel is for Israel; their Prince.
Not the church's prince.  We don't hear Michael's voice. We hear the SHOUT and the TRUMP of God.
The shout is to the dead= come forth, as was our Lord's words to Lazarus.
The trump of God = come up hither, as was our Lord's words to John the Revelator.
The voice of the archangel= Israel, I stand up for you, as is written in Daniel 12:1
And at "that time" shall Michael stand up, the great prince which standeth for the children of thy people: and there shall be "a time" of trouble, such as never was since there was a nation even to "that same time" : and AT "that time" thy people SHALL BE DELIVERED, every one that shall be found written in "the book." 2) And "many of them" that sleep in the dust of the earth "shall awake", some to everlasting life, and some to everlasting contempt.
1. Those to everlasting life= the believer having on their wedding garment.
2. Those to everlasting contempt= they who are un fruitful servants, and they who are not wearing their wedding garments, and they who say Lord, Lord.
(these are they who are cast BY contempt into outer darkness)
Our Lord told us to Watch!
Mark 13:35 Watch ye therefore: for ye know not when the master of the house cometh,
1. at even
2. or at midnight
3. or at the cock crowing
4. or in the morning:
36) Lest coming suddenly he find you sleeping.
37) And what I say unto you I say unto all, Watch.
Even if our Lord comes for us at midnight, he does not come as a thief unto us, because we are children of the day and not of the night, as Paul wrote to the Thessalonians. 1 Thessalonians 5:4 But ye, brethren, are not in darkness, that "that day" should overtake "you" as a thief. 5) Ye are all the children of light, and children of the day: we are not of the night, nor of darkness. 6) therefore let "us" not sleep, as do others; but let us watch and be sober. 7) For "they" that sleep sleep in the night; and "they" that be drunken are drunken in the night.
8) But  let "US", who are of the day, be sober, putting on the breastplate of "faith" and "love"; and for an helmet, "the hope" of salvation.
( not the salvation of being born again, but rather the salvation from the wrath of God which is to come)
9) For God hath not appointed "us" to wrath, but "to obtain" salvation BY our Lord Jesus Christ, 10) Who died for us, that whether we wake or sleep, we should live together with him.
11) Wherefore "comfort" yourselves "together", and edify one another, even as also you do.

As I had written to you before; If' I asked you how it was that you got to church this morning, you would answer BY automobile.
We will obtain our salvation from the wrath of God, BY our Lord Jesus Christ when we hear the shout, and the trump of God.
1. for the dead in Christ
2. for we who are alive and remain.
TOOT, TOOT
The second  trump/toot is that last trump of the trumpet of gathering.
If Paul meant to say the last trumpet, he would have said so. He used the word "trump" a trump is a sounding of a trumpet.
( We must understand that "that" trumpet is the trumpet of gathering together of His saints. The same said trumpet used in the wilderness of the children of Israel. Numbers 10:7 KJV  But "when" the congregation" is to be gathered "together," ye shall blow, but ye shall NOT sound an alarm. THE ALARM is account in Joel 2:1 Blow ye the trumpet in Zion, and sound an alarm "in my holy mountain:" let all the inhabitants of the land tremble: for the day of the Lord cometh, for it is nigh at hand; Isaiah 13:6 KJV Howl ye; for the day of the Lord is at hand; "it shall come as a destruction" from the Almighty.)
At hand means within reach. And if "the day of the Lord" A day of "THE TRUMPET" and ALARM (Zephaniah 1:16) be in reach, How much closer is the 3rd day? ( we are at the even of the 2nd day from his ascending)

Joel 2:2 KJV
A day of "darkness", a day of "gloominess", a day of "clouds" and of "thick darkness", as "THE MORNING" spread upon the mountains: a great people and strong; there hath  NOT BEEN  EVER THE LIKE, NEITHER SHALL BE ANY MORE AFTER IT, EVEN TO THE YEARS OF MANY GENERATIONS.

This morning is a gloomy day, a day as the morning spread upon the mountains. I live in Florida, but it is gloomy just the same. It brought all these things to my mind.
God Bess you
