"Pastor FM Riley: I'm
afraid that I may be one of those people that you spoke
about last week"
Pastor Riley,
I'm afraid that I may be one of those people
that you spoke about last week.
I had written something, asking questions about the possibility
of there not being a 3rd temple.
However, since I've been saved, I've actually always believed
that there would be a 3rd temple.
That is also what I've only taught.
It was here, on 5 Doves, where I thought to ask the questions
that I asked.
I had wondered how the antichrist could make the 3rd temple
desolate.
I had thought that it could only become desolate if the glory of
the LORD had been there and departed.
I realize that the presence of the beast, sitting in there, and
his image in the holy place, would cause that.
But I remembered that Jesus had said in these three lines in
Matthew:
Matthew 23:38 Behold, your house is left unto you desolate.
39 For I say unto you, Ye shall not see me henceforth,
till ye shall say, Blessed is he that cometh in the name of the
Lord.
Matthew 24:1 And Jesus went out, and departed from the temple:
and his disciples came to him for to shew him the buildings of
the temple.
I had thought the house was left desolate when Jesus departed,
and would be so until he returned in glory.
I was unable to reconcile all this, but I realize that it is
merely a problem with my understanding, or misunderstanding.
Your rebuke, last week, was well written, and I accept it.
I would only ask you to please help me reconcile the three
scriptures, above, with the clear teaching on the 3rd temple.
Thank you,
Gino
