"August 21st ecclipse
timing marker?"
In looking at possibilities, there are four different calendars
to consider. It is not exactly obvious which one God may
use as He brings the church age to a close, with its focus on
the body of Christ, and transition to focusing fully on Israel,
and how the nations relate to God through how they relate to
her.
We have been blessed with every spiritual blessing in
heavenly/celestial places per Eph 1:3. I believe our
destiny is to proclaim the good news of Jesus throughout the
universe, which will include some helping to bring about the
earth-based kingdom of God through the purified/refined remnant
Israel. Keep in mind that when Jesus died and resurrected,
He did so as "The Word of God" through whom all that exists came
into being. All of creation was included "in Him".
It comes down to, "Will a person believe in what He accomplished
for us?". We do not comprehend the greatness of what God
accomplished in what They pulled off in what Jesus did.
Their master plan is much grander than what our puny minds see
at this point.
Having said that, might God "mark time" for the body of Christ
by using a calendar that is constellations based, because our
destiny is heavenly places, whereas for Remnant Israel, might
God use a different calendar to mark time that is based upon the
details given to Moses and references the actual harvest
seasons, since their destiny is to bring about an earth-based
kingdom?
I think our confusion in looking for Jesus'return for us is that
we have not stepped back far enough and considered the
possibility that God may mark time differently for the body of
Christ verses Remnant Israel because of our different "kingdom
of God" arenas/destinies. I am not negating that the body
of Christ can use the Feasts' types and shadows found in the Old
Testament. I am only focusing on how we determing the
timing of those relative to a particular year.
A number of us sincerely were looking at Pentecost fully coming
the weekend of July 23rd. I was at a loss at first,
because, along with its types and shadows, so much was also
dovetailing in terms of timing markers concerning Israel
pointing to this year and this season, not even considering what
is happening in society and on the world stage.
There is a type of calendar, that focuses on referencing the sun
traveling through God's constellations, to mark time. With
what is called the "precession of the equinoxes", we are
currently a month off relative to the time of Christ.
Basically the sun is now in what is called Cancer, but I believe
should be thought of as the "Gathered Assembly" constellation,
as I had written prior. This ends August 22nd. Jesus
died when the sun was in Aries (or The Lamb
constellation). The Lamb constellation is the first month,
the Gathered Assembly constellation is the 4th month.
Ignor the recently added 13th constellation, in that this is
ultimately the evil one's atttempt to "change times". Him
"shooting this move" is a clue in and of itself that the sun's
position in the constellations might be a type of calendar that
the Father has provided for us.
In prior years of trying to determine when Pentecost fully
comes, by adding a count of 50 days after a seven weeks
count, and this starting on the First Fruits of the barley wave
offering in the spring, I observed that it fell each year at the
end of the 4th month on the Torah-based calendar, right at the
concealed moon.
Taking this "end of the 4th month" Pentecost timing
understanding, I overlayed it with the understanding that God
marks time for the body of Christ by the sun's position in the
constellations, and I arrive at Pentecost fully arriving at the
end of the 4th month, or the weekend of August 19-21 this year.
What is interesting about this is the "Great American (solar)
Ecclipse" happens on August 21st. It is a pretty big
deal. Even at work our management company put out a notice
about our part of Oregon getting deluged with out of state
visitors.
According to Jewish tradition, a solar ecclipse can be a warning
of coming judgment to the nations, whereas a lunar ecclipse can
be a warning of coming judgment to Israel. Some have
researched that this type of ecclipse event possibly happened
right over Ninevah at the beginning of Jonah's 40 day judgement
warning. Very interesting if this is valid.
What is insightful about August 21st is that it is about 40 days
before the Day of Atonement. It is also at the beginning
of the Jewish month of Elul. To the Jews, the 1st of Elul
starts a 40 day period of introspection and self-judgment
because it is 40 days from the Day of Atonement, or what they
call Yom Kippur.
This 40 day window may also be a transition time of the Father
going from a sun-position calendar for the body of Christ to a
harvest seasons-based calendar for remnant Israel. There
is a precedent for this Biblically in the book of Acts. After
Jesus ascended, Israel was given a second chance to accept the
Messiah and His coming earth-based kingdom through the
proclamation of the 120 disciples and followers. At the
stoning of Stephen it was clear Israel was going to reject it
again, and God temporarily closed the 40 year window at the
destruction of the temple.
During that 40 year transition window, the Holy Spirit severed
Paul and Barnabas to begin a new work, and the "church age"
began in an embryonic form, so to speak.
The 40 count transition window is a time period of a type of
judgment where people have to get off the fence onto one side or
the other.
If the rapture happens August 19-21, then the world, and
especially America, may begin a 40 day period of extreme
reflection. I believe God will also remove all of the
children so can you imagine how terrified folks will be to know
what happened. Some may actually come to know that those
crazy end-times Christians were right and be very open to
embrace Jesus as Salvation.
With Pentecost being traditionally the first fruits of the wheat
harvest, might the rapture be a first fruits offering of the
nations to the Father by Jesus in the heavenly temple?
After the first fruits wave offering, then is the full
harvest. Might Jesus, after a number of "heaven's timeflow
days", send some of us back down to help bring in the full
harvest? Is there a Biblical basis for this?
Jesus did the same thing. He resurrected and then ascended
the same day. Then He came "right back down" according to
an earthly timeflow perspective, and ministered for 40 days
before ascending a second time. This 40 day window lines
up with the time between the big ecclipse, the start of Elul,
and up to the Day of Atonement this year.
I am wondering if Jesus gave us the pattern for the end of the
church age, but with a different grain (Feast) wave offering.
If my thinking is valid, this takes place (August 19-21) right
before the new moon days. Now, read I Samuel 20. Do
you see the hidden clues where this story may point to some
"rapture and return" details? Might we be missed at the
new moon? Might we appear to be hiding for three days
before we return temporarily? The name of the rock David
hid at is derived from a Hebrew word that means "to go, to be
gone, to evaporate" according to Strong's.
These are my thoughts. The Holy Spirit is our only true
teacher and revealer.
Sincerely,
Douglas Henney
