I looked
to see when the first use of the name "Judah" appeared
in the Bible. Judah is the tribe of Israel that the
Lord Jesus is from.
That
first mention is Genesis 29:35 -
"And she
(Leah) conceived again, and bare a son: and she
said, Now will I praise the LORD: therefore she
called his name Judah; and left bearing."
This is
Bible verse number 831.
Switch
Bible numbering systems
from "Verse Numbers" to "Gematria" using 831 as the
value.
The first
verse with an 831 gematria valued word in it is
Genesis 1:14 -
"And God
said, Let there be lights in the firmament of the
heaven to divide the day from the night; and let
them be for signs, and for seasons, and for days,
and years: ..."
The 831
valued word is ..
"signs"!
This is
impressive. This verse is a major Old
Testament Bible Prophecy verse often used in
relation to this New Testament verse -
Revelation
12:1
"And
there appeared a great wonder in heaven; a woman
clothed with the sun, and the moon under her feet, and
upon her head a crown of twelve stars: ..."
This
woman is pregnant and delivers a child in
Revelation 12:5 -
"And she
brought forth a man child, who was to rule all
nations with a rod of iron: and her child was caught
up unto God, and to his throne."
I believe
the common thought on the symbolism is that
the woman (constellation) is Mary
(Virgin/Virgo), the virgin mother of Jesus, and
the man child is Jesus Himself, both mother and
child being from the lineage of Judah.
Then this
would seem to be a precise match indicating that
Judah/Jesus is the Sign in the Heavens in
Genesis 1:14.
Jesus is
Lord.
