Hello, John and Doves,When the Spirit of Christ gives a promise for HaMashiach's soon return, there are conditions. We are His temple. [Please see Ephesians 2:21, Hebrews 8:2, and 1 Peter 2:5-8.] He is the chief cornerstone. The people who stumble on Him disavow the grace of God to prevent sin [Romans 8:14] and the mercy of God to forgive sin [Hebrews 4:16].HaMashiach is now in a holding pattern, when God is waiting for us to rid the runway of our hearts of the debris of outright sin and hubris so that He may land the plane that will take us home.As such, this waiting time is generous, but limited in scope. The 70th Jubilee year [70 x 7 x 7 = 3,430 years since Joshua and Caleb first set foot in the Promised Land, 40 years (inclusive) before the rest of Israel] ends on 29 Elul [which begins on the evening of 1 October 2016].It is therefore extremely interesting to note that 10 days were sovereignly added to the Julian Calendar to get our current Georgian Calendar. That makes Saturday a Thursday!On the other hand [every Jew has three opinions], that may give us 10 extra days to Yom Kippur, which could (in a certain way) still be considered a part of 5776.Of course [and here is the third opinion], El Elyon is absolutely sovereign, and He always rightly divides the truth.
