"I wear the badge proudly"

Doves,

I have been following and posting to the Doves site for many years and have long ago realized that a hot button topic there is to suggest that the rapture happens in any period other than at Revelation 4 which seems to be the “established norm” and is called pre-trib.

That sentiment seems to be pored in concrete by most Doves and if one varies from that company line so to speak…. they are anathema. Well then, I wear that badge proudly in that I believe that the rapture happens during the sixth seal “intervention” by God the Father and Jesus which I have explained in detail in posts the last two weeks on the Doves site and in other prior posts over the years.

And if you read those posts and my explanation, you’ve come away with a rapture event happening during the sixth seal and portrayed simply as both a pre-trib and pre-wrath position at the same time. Yes, that is a very possible scenario. So if you’re a pre-tribber pointing a condemning finger at the pre-wrath crowd you may seemingly be pointing one right back at yourself.

As I have stated before there is absolutely no biblical verbiage or fanfare so to speak with a rapture event happening in Revelation 4 but the bible text makes a huge deal with much biblical fanfare after the sixth seal when untold hundreds of millions of people show up in heaven right after the “first fruits” of this resurrection are chosen.

I like to read the bible literally and my bible literally indicates that the seven seals….all of them…are and will be loving interventions by a loving Jesus who will rapture His church during the sixth seal which will fulfill both a pre-trib and pre-wrath position with His church showing up in heaven just a few verses later to great biblical fanfare.

The seventh seal that Dove poster 1 Cor 10:31 took exception to…. as to it (the seventh seal) definitely being a judgment is in my opinion not a judgment…… and is also not an introduction to the seven trumpet judgments. The key point or verbiage in the seventh seal is that there will be “silence in heaven for about half an hour”. What exactly does that mean, why will that happen and how much time is “about half an hour” heavenly time based on earthly time??? In heavenly counting a day is a thousand years….a week is 7 years…heavenly counting is confusing. So how much is “about half an hour”?

I personally believe as I have stated before that it’s at the seventh seal intervention by Jesus……….. when Satan is cast out of heaven. Scripture tells us that the devil / Satan was in heaven condemning and making accusations against Christ’s church continually. If he was cast out of heaven at the seventh seal would not there finally be silence in heaven? And if the newly arrived church was there to witness this event would they not be in complete silence and awe at this major happening? Could this heavenly time period of “about half an hour” be a courtroom trial period against Satan….a very silent, stern, heavenly courtroom witnessed over by Christ’s church were the proceedings against Satan take about half an hour” before he was found guilty and extracted / banished from heaven?

Let me expand on several thoughts even farther. What is something earthly judges do in courtrooms? They pound gavels on desktops to insure silence in court rooms.

Lets assume Satan is on trial at the seventh seal. Who has he sinned against? Mainly humanity in thousands of ways.

Then who should be the jurors if he is put on trial for his horrendous crimes against humanity? The righteous members of humanity. Were these righteous members of humanity, the dead and alive in Christ, not just brought to heaven (raptured) during the sixth seal and should they not be the jurors at Satan’s trial. When would they get a better chance? God tells us in the fifth seal that some of these people are very very upset and looking for justice. ….“How long, O Lord, holy and true, until You judge and avenge our blood on those who dwell on the earth?“…..I believe a righteous God would see to it that His church participated and got justifiable revenge.

And how long might it take for humanity to provide the evidence and then condemn Satan and eject and banish him from heaven? Maybe, could it be..….. about a half an hour…..heavenly time??

It seems to me that if indeed we the Christian church show up in heaven after the sixth seal as scripture indicates that Satan and his lot would not cohabitate well with those people……that is, if Satan and his lot were still there. This tells me that Satan’s angels were cast out during the sixth seal Rev.6:13……stars (a term that can mean angels) of heaven fell to the earth…

And Satan himself was tried and cast out at the seventh seal finally causing “silence in heaven” in the form of no more verbiage or condemnation by Satan against Christ’s church and also courtroom silence.???

I believe one verse to be the total extend of the seventh seal…….just one verse…….”there was silence in heaven for about half an hour”…. Rev.8:1 One verse..

I say this because the next verse starts with the word …And

When you start a sentence with the word and…. it means and then….. meaning to me the start of another topic or another thought entirely.. In this case I believe that John the Revelator is saying in verse 2 of Rev.8 …..and then lets move on to the next topic, a different topic…..which is…….. And then I saw the seven angels who stand before God, and to them were given seven trumpets…….which then kicks off the start of the trumpet judgments.

Lots to think and ponder about……

I am definitely not saying…..this is the way it is. I am saying…..this is the way I have discerned it.

Please read the passages for yourself, don’t take mine or anyone else’s word for it but ask the Holy Spirit for enlightenment and discernment.

Blessings…..John B

PS…Think about it, if a “worthy” Jesus had not formally intervened for His church using the seven seal interventions over the many centuries since His crucifixion, death and resurrection……… do you really believe there would be a church left to rapture? With Satan being the prince and controller of this planet and his total rebellion against God……. we the church and the Jews would have been completely eradicated years and centuries ago. In my mind, it’s a simple concept and a simple truth.
