I had an interesting conversation with a gent who lived through Hurricanes Ivan and Katrina. He currently still lives in the Caribbean but can't wait to get out. He said something very profound - considering he is secular with no knowledge of the powers that are currently raging in the spiritual realm. He described the build up to both disasters and the aftermath. He said that the devastation and chaos, the next day, brought out "the bad people". The bad people were free to run riot - spew out their evil. It got me thinking. Evil can only run riot when there is chaos. Once all calms down - evil is forced to skulk back into the shadows - crawl back into the woodwork. It's an interesting concept. Evil can only flourish when there is chaos. Think 9/11.

You know the old saying..........."Kick a dog when he's down"? Haven't you always found - in the dark moments of your life - that everyone and everything gets the boot in when you are at your lowest? That is the nature of evil. When you are down, pray HARD. Don't be a victim. Recognise the POWER you have in our LORD.
