"A New and Different
Revelation Timeline"
Hi Lisa,
I appreciate you reminding me of the dangers of changing the
Word of God. But in my own honest way I am just interpreting the
scriptures like any other bible students who has every right to
do so and who would earnestly want to know the biblical truths.
I don't know if I have to continue on to defend my views,
because I am afraid to fall in Peter's predicament if my
intention and motives are not true to God's concerns. If I
wanted to defend it just to prove that I am right I know its not
going to be the right kind of spirit.
I am sorry if I had to mention a certain group of people and
somehow offended some. I know it is a divisive thing that I have
done and somehow had made a cause for others not to be open on
my views.
I will post again below the guiding principle that I hope
everyone of us will keep in order for us to become open to other
views and become teachable. As bible students and puzzle
solvers, let us learn from each other and let Jesus Christ and
The Holy Spirit be our Teacher.
Matthew 16:15-17
15 He
said to them, “But who do you say that I am?” 16 Simon Peter
replied, “You are the Christ, the Son of the living God.” 17 And
Jesus
answered him, “Blessed are you, Simon Bar-Jonah! For flesh and
blood has not revealed this to you, but my Father who is in
heaven.
Six
verses after...
Matthew
16:22-23
Peter
took him aside and began to rebuke him. "Never, Lord!" he said.
"This shall never happen to you!" (seems so sincere and has
the
right motive)
Jesus
turned and said to Peter, "Get behind me, Satan! You are a
stumbling block to me; you do not have in mind the concerns of
God,
but
merely human concerns."
The same mouth that glorified Jesus Christ is the same mouth
that insulted Jesus Christ. Most of the time we put ourselves in
Peter's shoes.
Peter is not Satan.
