Today I was meditating on the time period in which we are living.
I thought about the period from when Jesus read Isa 61 at the Start of His ministry in Luke 4.... unto this Yom Kippur.
I thought to myself, ''this must be the age of Faith, or the age of the Church''.........and then......this word came to me....''the Age of Redemption''.......then, mercy.... I remembered that in this age the only way to be ''saved'' out of sin or slavery is if you have a Kinsman Redeemer....per Ruth and Boaz.
Then, I remembered the scriptures......''sealed unto the Day of Redemption''........from Ephesians. Then I remembered that the Jews, call Yom Kippur ''The Day of Redemption''!!!!
This I think this ''clinches of cinches'' the nail on the other side of the board.
"Day of redemption as a period'' opened when Jesus announced it on Yom Kippur in Luke 4 quoting from Isaiah 61. This ''period'' is called '' the acceptable 'year' of the Lord''.
Paul confirmed this very thing when he wrote years later to the Corinthians: II Cor. 6:2
(For he saith, I have heard thee in a time accepted, and in the day (period) of salvation have I succoured thee: behold, now is the accepted time; behold, now is the day of salvation.)I believe Paul was saying ''Now is the time period of Redemption........Now is a period of time when salvation and pardon for sins is being offered......take this free pardon now!)
This ''period'' of redemption runs from Luke 4..... until the end of the period ..........which will also end On Yom Kippur, the same day it opened with when Jesus announced it.''Most Bible Scholars realize that the very Day when Jesus read from Isaiah 61, in Luke 4 , which was His First Sermon, was on the Very Day of Atonement, called Yom Kippur. ( The Jewish daily readings back then were on a 3 year cycle. Today the readings are on a 1 year cycle. The 3 year cycle of Bible readings put this VERY verse of Isa.61 on the Day of Atonement.) Thus the Day of Atonement Starts the time of a period of Redemption from sin and also Closes the day of Redemption from sin!)This is easily understood when we realize Jesus read from Isa 61 on the Day of Atonement and stopped in the middle of verse 2. Thus we may conclude that the remainder of verse 2 , ''to proclaim the day of vengeance of our God....'' will also start of the Day of Atonement............thus of necessity the period of Redemption will also Close with the start of the Day of Vengeance or the Day of the Lord.
It is no mistake that the day the period opened was on The Day of Redemption.....Yom Kippur. It is no mistake it ends on The Day of Redemption, which is also Yom Kippur.
During this period God is offering ALL who come to Jesus a free pardon from spiritual sin.
The ''next item'' on God's Plan is the remainder of the Isaiah 61 passage.......''and the day of vengeance of our God''.
It appears we are about to Transition from one period to another. From the Day /period/ or Redemption to the start of the announcement of the Kingdom.
The below scriptures would seem to confirm that Yom Kippur IS the Day of Redemption.
Some of this verses indicate that it is the Day/singular/ of the Redemption of the Body mentioned in Romans and the unveiling of the Sons of God!
The period of Teshuvah runs from 40 days Before Yom Kippur UNTIL the day of Yom Kippur and is to be a time of repentance of sin. At the end of the period of Teshuvah, on Yom Kippur is the ''Closing of the Gate'' ceremony........which would seem to END the period of the Free Offer of Redemption to all Mankind. It is my understanding that a Trumpet / Shofar is blown each Day of the 40 day period of Teshuvah.....leading up to and concluding on Yom Kippur when ''the last trumpet'' of this season is blown! This Last Trumpet was called the ''shofar haggadol'', meaning the Great Trumpet!Paul said to the Church in I Cor. 15 that ''we shall all be changed at the Last Trump''........!
The Next Feast, after Yom Kippur, is the Feast of Tabernacles which would bring in the announcement of the Glorious Kingdom message.
See verses below/ in the light of the information above:

GOD'S WORDŽ Translation
Don't give God's Holy Spirit any reason to be upset with you. He has put his seal on you for the day you will be set free [from the world of sin].Can I get an ''amen'' here?!Romans 8:23.........
And not only they, but ourselves also, which have the firstfruits of the Spirit, even we ourselves groan within ourselves, waiting for the adoption, to wit, the redemption of our body.
That we should be to the praise of his glory, who first trusted in Christ.
In whom ye also trusted, after that ye heard the word of truth, the gospel of your salvation: in whom also after that ye believed, ye were sealed with that holy Spirit of promise,
Which is the earnest of our inheritance until the redemption of the purchased possession, unto the praise of his glory.Notice please the 3 fold part of the above verses.1) After you Believed....this is Salvation of the Born Again experience. The Passover experience.2) Then, next, after believing we were ''sealed'' with the Holy Spirit of Promise. This is the Pentecost sealing of the Holy Spirit.3) The Sealing of the Holy Spirit only the ''earnest'' UNTIL the "redemption of the purchased possession.''Thus, above we see the Order of full salvation.Being born again .....the Passover Experience.Being baptized in the Holy Spirit....the Pentecost Experience. The full Redemption of the Body......the Yom Kippur/Atonement experience which is call ''the Day of Redemption.''Finally, note this verse from Hebrews chapter 9. Please read the context in the preceding verses which show the Context is ''the Priest's duty on the Day of Atonement''!The 'final' act of the High Priest, after appearing before God in the Holy of Holies was to go out of the Temple back to the People ''who were looking for Him.''In that context this verse is given:Heb. 9:27-28
