Hello Dave:
Thanks for your reply. Collectively, along with the many world events taking place, this Rosh HaShanah has been from my watching, the best possibility in years.
My spirit picks up a pace around this time of the year to watch for signs that may give added confirmation that I might expect "the unknown day" to be manifested.
What is currently happening in the Israeli/Gaza war; the Ukraine dilemma for Putin, the establishment of the BRICS nations creating their own equivalent to the World Bank/IMF; the deliberate destruction of America by a 1,000 cuts being instituted by Obama; the potential of a deal between the Vatican and the Israeli Knesset; and roughly another dozen of less obvious activities transpiring, I think we have strong confirmation of the Rapture Sept. 25/26th.
Something that has appeared on the radar in the past few weeks that has been ominous has been that of government voices calling for a preemptive strike on Russia (nukes). In fact, there is solid evidence that the entire Ukraine revolution has been premeditated by the USA/EU/NATO, with the USA running the show. It is the international banksters that have been driving this civil war. They [IMF] offered the Ukraine billions, under one condition, that Ukraine government attack and wage war on the rebels in the east. The powers pulling the strings want the Ukraine government to retake the Crimea region which Vladimir Putin appropriated back two months ago.
Something that few people knew, including myself, was the close ties between the present-day Ukraine and Israel. I read intel that indicated a cozy relationship existed between the two. It completely slipped my memory when it was noted by an intel site that their is a historical ethnic tie to the Ukraine. This was the home of the Khazarian Empire of the 10th century era. Jews in Israel come mostly from the Khazar sect. They constitute 90% of Israeli Jews today. Only 10% of Israeli Jews are Biblical Jews from the Sephardic sect, i.e., descendants of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob.
The reason this point is important in our last days scenario is due to the fact that Russia is being pushed into a retaliation position. He gave an address to his cabinet over a week ago that specifically intimated that Russian sovereignty was on the line and that options are running out before they have to go to war to protect their interests. Those interests include access to the Med., their two warm-water ports in Syria, their pipelines that run through Syria, being the major ones. We have fruitcake senators, 22 of them that just introduced a bill, with the terms that would suffice to permit the US to wage a war on Russia. No one in their right mind would want to launch a nuclear strike knowing the obvious. People at the Pentagon actually believe they could launch a preemptive strike and destroy Russia. But at what cost at home? I haven't read anything that defines the costs of life and treasure at home in such war games.
During the Cold War of the late 1950's and early 1960's I was soldier of a tactical nuclear artillery unit in West Germany. There were six of these nuclear artillery units in W.Germany, along with missile units. Each of the six nuclear artillery units had six 280-mm big guns that fired a 650# piece of ordinance, roughly 11-12 inches in diameter. Each of these big guns carried in inventory, six atomic rounds, along with standard convention high explosives. That's 36 big guns armed with 216 nuclear rounds, capable of lobbing a 2-kiloton warhead 21 miles. I spent 36-months in West Germany and our "life line" was considered to be not more than "72-hours". Our mission was to hold a line along the Fulda Gap that runs north to south, just inside the border that divided East and West Germany, and mission was to defend the border in order to evacuate 200,000 US dependents and civilians from western Europe against the Russian/East Germans if war were to break out. "72-hours". That's all we were good for.
I note all of this to make my point that even after twenty years since the removal of the Berlin Wall, there are people insane enough to believe you can wage nuclear war and get away with it. During the collapse of the old Soviet Union, Russia did not have money to present a formidable military, but it kept an essential defense in maintaining its nuclear missile strength. Ships rusted in ports, tanks sat rusting in garrison, planes sat on tarmacs unable to fly, but their missile forces were maintained for instant use.
Putin is a top notch chess player, but when cornered, I do not expect him to rollover and simply play dead. He will launch what would have to be defined by the old term "MAD" or mutual assured destruction. These crazies inside the Beltway are deluded and power-driven. The once peacekeeper nation of the world has morphed into a Fascist globalist dictatorial police state.
So to sum it all up in a nutshell, I see this Rosh HaShanah as an excellent time for us to be listening for the sound of the trumpet. Even if we are disappointed, I look on the positive side of everything the Bible has said would happen, has or is happening.
I forgot to note concerning the above noted link with Ukraine and Israel may be a major factor in why the kings of the north come against Israel. Scripture tells us that they [kings of the north] will lose handedly, but what it does not say is what happens to their major opponent in that battle. We are left to guess on that as to the outcome! This is why I believe we are to be on awake and alert, watching, at work and ready for those words, "come up hither". I'm always reminded of my days in the Army in W. Germany. Because we were a high-level nuclear artillery unit, we had a full-scale alert once a month, we didn't know the day nor the hour, we just knew we would have one every month. Most of the time it would occur after everyone was in their sack, usually between 1 am and 4 am. Our UHF and VHF radio vans were always parked out behind my barracks. When I would listen to or notice the radio van's activity before lights-out, I could pretty much tell if an alert was to happen that night/morning. We always left our squad room windows open partway for many reasons, but when the radio vans began to chatter their Morse coded messages, I knew. In an alert we had to be rolling in 15 minutes, all wheels rolling, no excuses, no mistakes, all vehicles had full gas tanks every day by sun down, for this reason. Our vehicles were in third gear going out the garrison gate, headed for one of several alert sites throughout the German countryside. Close to a thousand men and 200 vehicles, including low-boy trailers with bulldozers, armored vans, carrying trailers with munitions and supplies. Even the cooks would set up their field kitchens and serve daylight breakfast of grits, scrambled eggs, toast and coffee.
So our military alerts were similar in a way with the Jews practice observance doing their rehearsal of the Feast Days. As Mark Biltz says, they were yearly rehearsing by preparing for the day the Feast Days every year in preparation for the Big One! If I am wrong about Rosh HaShanah this year, I will experience some let down for sure but not discouraged in the least. Too much happening, too often for us to be wrong much longer.
Keep looking up, and God bless,
Pastor Bob
