Dear JTF:

In the three posts that I posted on:

    ++Why Lucifer/Satan hates the Jews - Part 1 (Letters F.D. posted June 22nd)
    ++Why Lucifer/Satan hates the Jews - Part 2 (Letters F.D. posted June 29th)
    ++Ashkenazis or Sephardics (Letters F.D. posted August 3rd)

I have addressed the issue of "Supersessionism" more commonly known as "Replacement Theology" and provided a thorough documentation of how this movement began in the early 4th century and has continued to the present day.  I identified the people that were historically behind its promotion.  I identified how it came about and how Roman Catholicism pushed it as a diversion to counteract the church view as to how the book of Revelation was looking surprisingly familiar to the early theologians of the day as if it was referring to and focusing on Rome as the Antichrist.  Rome pushed the idea that Revelation had already occurred long before their day and that it was a distraction to the church.  In fact, Martin Luther, wanted to have the book of Revelation removed from the Bible. In the 21st century it is so obvious as to why he wanted it taken from the Bible corpus text.

You presented an assortment of passages that are either unrelated to "Replacement Theology" or immaterial to the issue of "Replacement Theology" my post concerning a real issue that exists in the Church today, and then state "There is no such thing as replacement theology."

The fact that you haven't heard of the term is not surprising, millions of Christians have not heard of it.  However, that in no way proves that it is not a real theological issue that dates back over 1,700 years.  It is a fact that most denominations, that came out of the RCC, or descended from the Reformation period are complicit with "Supersessionism".  The big issue of the Reformation for Martin Luther was "justification by faith".  Luther's 95 theses nailed to the Wittenburg Church door covered a wide array of things such as selling indulgences, papal abuses, use of papal treasures, etc.  Luther, initially wanted the Jews to convert, but when the Jews would not convert to Catholicism, he turned on them with resentment and hatred.  In one of my three posts noted above, I have quoted Luther's own written words, which are readily accessible in any seminary library.  They can be found on the Internet theological sites as well, so it cannot be denied that it exists.  To this day, the Lutheran Church chooses to ignore Martin Luther's words about the Jews.  Luther is an embarrassment to the several Lutheran Church denominations, and they would just as soon put the past behind them and not offer any sort of apology to the Jewish people.

I am simply stating that Christianity, beginning with Augustine, and continuing to this day has set aside Israel and the Jewish people.  The blame for all of this lays at the door of the Vatican and the RCC.  The Church as we know it said that all the promises and blessings of the Jews now are transferred to the church and belong to the Church because they, the Jews are held responsible for the crucifixion of Jesus Christ.  This is a bogus argument, because we know that Jesus Christ laid down His life for the sins of the world.  That fact notwithstanding has not changed Rome's theology and attitude towards the Jews.  The point is that Rome blamed the Jews as Christ killers, and they milked the issue for everything they could for centuries, for the benefit of the Catholic Church.  Priests for centuries have been verbally poisoning the well with people's understanding of the Jewish people.  Edmund Paris, author of 'The Secret History of the Jesuits' even details the attack by the RCC on the Jews of Europe.  The RCC never excommunicated Adolf Hitler from the RCC because of his "Final Solution".  So you can't honestly say there is no such thing as "Replacement Theology" when it is a proven historical fact.  This is not to say that there are not millions who choose to ignore it, deny it, disbelieve it, and for whatever their reason, deny the truth.  While you may think there is no such thing, I know a number of Jews that would vehemently disagree with you.  Over five decades of pastoral ministry, I have invited in excess of twenty Jewish rabbis to dialogue with my congregations to gain better understanding between Christians and Jews.

I have stated that "Replacement Theology" has been around for centuries, and still remains an obstacle today in finding peace and harmony between the Christian community and the Jewish people.  There is so much that you are either unaware of or prefer not to learn concerning this entire matter as it has been documented throughout the period since the end of the 3rd century of the Christian church until the present date.

For many that want to deny the historical truth, they choose to play the endless head games of diversion and distraction and ask the question, "Who is a Jew?"  I'm not dealing with that question here and now, nor was I dealing with that question in the three posts noted above.  I have stated so in posts over the last two weeks dealing with the Biblical distinction between Israel, the Gentiles, and the Church.  This is not an issue that can be justified as an excuse or used to blur the message of the Bible, making it absolutely clear that a Biblical distinction exists between the two separate entities in the Bible, the Jewish national state, and the Church.

I recommend you go back and read the three posts above, since you doubt that "Replacement Theology" exists.

Blessings,

Pastor Bob
