Thanks for your reply.  Actually we are in agreement here in what you have shared.

The point of my quote axiom (a generalization) has to deal with the fact that "feelings" are not a very reliable standard by which to interpret the Scriptures.  Of all the various recognized means of interpreting Scripture, historically speaking, over nearly 2,000 years the least reliable is that of the allegorical and mystical.   The literal, grammatical, historical, offers the interpreter the best understanding in achieving objective truth.

Very much appreciate your point of view, and you can see how communications becomes the stumbling block in theology.  I've noted many times the struggle translators have with Biblical languages.  The Greek and Hebrew are
"living" languages which demand exhaustive discernment.
