Dear Bro. Ron:

We are not in disagreement, but for the fact that the Church (90% of it) since Augustine's day (350 BC and forward) has treated he entire Bible as allegory.  The Bible does contain allegory, however, it is treated entirely different and "spiritualizes" even that which can only be treated or understood as literal.  There are over 200 linguistic devices that God has used to communicate His word, and "allegory" is one of the ways, however, not a Rome has taught.

I debate the local priests two blocks away over his misuse of Scripture.  For example, they treat the entire book of Revelation as allegory, and argue that it has nothing to do with today or events taking place around the world and in particular, Israel.
