ISIS In Western Cities -- A Living, Breathing Monster, Just Waiting

The ISIS phenomenon has stunned the world. Much like the Mongol hordes that swept out of the Central Asian Steppe in the 13th Century, this is a force which seems to have emerged from nowhere -- anti-modern, highly focused in its objectives and brutal in its execution while paying no attention to the niceties of the rules of war. Brutal decapitations of Iraqi civilians, the rape of women, their sale in slave markets, the burial of live victims, the starvation of villagers into submission -- this is not even terrorism, or Assad-like murder of Syrian citizens, but Genghis Khan reincarnated in the 21st Century. So far, it has swept everything before it, conquering two of Iraq's largest cities, and mercilessly killing anything standing on two legs that does not conform to its standards of religious observance. It represents the gravest threat to stability in a notoriously unstable region of the world. But now we know ISIS is not only in Northern Iraq and the
Middle East. It is a living, breathing monster, lurking in our Western cities, watching and waiting.

ISIS Plans To Better Ottoman “Caliphate” In Which 250,000 Christians Were Slaughtered A Century Ago
Albeit belated, and ever grudgingly, the non-Muslim world has been compelled to acknowledge ISIL's ghastly, murderous jihad rampages against both the Christian and Yazidi religious minorities of northern Iraq. Even now, however, no U.S. television network has been willing to air the explicit testimonies of both Yazidi and Christian refugees from these jihad depredations about the following salient issue: how local Sunni Muslims, their erstwhile "neighbors," not only aided and abetted ISIL, but were more responsible for killings, other atrocities, and expulsions than the "foreign" invading jihadists. For example, Sabah Hajji Hassan, a 68-year-old Yazidi, lamented, "The (non-Iraqi) jihadists were Afghans, Bosnians, Arabs and even Americans and British fighters. But the worst killings came from the people living among us, our (Sunni) Muslim neighbors...

ISIS Now Has Army Of 50,000 In Syria Alone
The jihadist Islamic State has more than 50,000 fighters in Syria and recruited 6,000 last month alone, the Britain-based Syrian Observatory for Human Rights said on Tuesday. The group, which relies on activists, doctors and lawyers on the ground in Syria for its reporting, said July saw the Islamic State's largest recruitment yet. "The number of IS fighters has passed 50,000 in Syria, including 20,000 non-Syrians," the group's director Rami Abdel Rahman said. "July saw the largest recruitment since the group appeared in Syria in 2013, with more than 6,000 new fighters," he said. Abdel Rahman said the new recruits in July included more than 1,000 foreign fighters from Chechnya, Europe and Arab countries, as well as Chinese Muslims. He said most had entered Syria from Turke

What Does This Suggest Will Happen When Tom Horn’s “Trigger Event” Pandemic Occurs? Ebola-Hit States Plead For Help, Rebuke WHO
Two West African nations and a medical charity fighting the world's worst Ebola epidemic chided the World Health Organization (WHO) on Friday for its slow response, saying more action was needed to save victims threatened by the disease and hunger. With the death toll over 1,000 and still climbing, the U.N. health agency is facing questions over whether it moved quickly enough to declare the months-old outbreak a "public health emergency of international concern", which it did on Aug 8. Medical charity MSF (Doctors Without Borders), which has been one of the most active groups in fighting the outbreak, said its spread had created a "wartime" situation in the worst-affected states of Sierra Leone, Liberia and Guinea. Nigeria is also facing a smaller separate outbreak.
