For God hath NOT APPOINTED US TO WRATH, (but) to obtain salvation (BY) our Lord Jesus Christ, But let us, who ARE OF THE DAY, be sober, putting on the breastplate of FAITH and LOVE;  and for an HELMET, ( THE HOPE OF SALVATION.) For God hath NOT appointed us to WRATH, (but) to OBTAIN SALVATION (BY) our Lord Jesus Christ, 1 Thess 5:9 KJV
For God hath NOT given us the spirit of fear(;) But of POWER, and of LOVE, and of  a SOUND MIND. 2 Tim 1:7 KJV
( These individuals are born again IN Christ Jesus and ARE NOT called to Wrath and are LOOKING for THAT Blessed HOPE of salvation BY our Lord Jesus Christ, and from the Wrath which is coming upon all who know not God.) 2 Thess 1:8 KJV

TITUS 2: 11- 13 KJV
For the grace of God That Bringeth Salvation hath appeared to all men, Teaching US that , denying ungodliness and worldly lusts, we should live soberly, righteously, and godly, IN THIS PRESENT WORLD(;)
LOOKING for (THAT)  Blessed Hope,
AND the great God
AND our Saviour Jesus Christ.

The (great day) of the Lord is near, IT is near, and hasteth greatly, even the VOICE OF THE DAY OF THE LORD (:) the mighty man shall cry there bitterly. THAT DAY is a day of WRATH, a day of TROUBLE and DISTRESS, A DAY of DARKNESS and gloominess, A DAY of clouds and THICK DARKNESS, A DAY of (TRUMPET AND ALARM) against the fenced cities, and against the high towers. And I' will BRING DESTRESS UPON MEN, that they shall walk as blind men, because they have sinned against the Lord(:) and THEIR blood shall be poured out as dust, and THEIR flesh as the dung. ( These individuals are NOT born again IN Christ Jesus and ARE called to Wrath because they know NOT our Lord Jesus Christ)

IF we dismiss (THAT) blessed Hope, the catching away, and set our faces toward the end, then we are LOOKING toward Wrath, which WE are NOT called to.
Woe unto you that desire the day of the Lord ! to what end is it to you ?
the day of the Lord is a day of Darkness, and NOT light. Amos 5:18 KJV
He that loveth his brother abideth in the light, and there is None occasion of stumbling in him. 1John 2:10 KJV
1 John 2:9 He that saith  he is in the light, and hateth his brother, is in darkness even until now.
This then is the message which we have heard of him, and declare unto you, that GOD is light, and in him is no darkness at all. 1 John 1:5

There is A TRUMPET OF GATHERING TOGETHER
and A TRUMPET OF ALARM.
Numbers 10:7 KJV
BUT when the congregation  IS TO BE GATHERED TOGETHER, ye shall blow, BUT ye shall NOT sound an ALARM.

Blow ye the TRUMPET in Zion, and SOUND AN ALARM in my holy mountain(:) LET ALL THE INHABITANTS OF THE LAND TREMBLE(:) for ( The Day of The Lord Cometh, for IT is nigh at hand. Joel 2:1 KJV
And The Lord Shall Utter HIS VOICE before his Army(:) for his camp is very great(:) for he is strong that executeth HIS WORD(:) for The Day of The Lord is great and very terrible(;) and who can abide IT ?

Certainly NOT we who are IN the Light of Christ and are LOOKING for THAT Blessed HOPE, and Salvation (from the Wrath of God,) BY our Lord Jesus Christ.
We ARE ALREADY SAVED BY THE GRACE OF GOD WHICH HATH COME UNTO ALL MEN through Christ ( Titus 2:11) BUT we are also NOT ignorant as THOSE who have NO HOPE. 1 Thess 4:13 KJV  For we know that the mystery of Iniquity (wickedness) already works in the world. ONLY He (the Holy Ghost) who NOW letteth (allows) will let,(allow) UNTIL he ( the Holy Ghost that dwells IN us, BE TAKEN OUT OF THE WAY.

Out of The Way of What ?
Out of The way of the Wrath of God; which comes to those who know not God nor his Christ.

Wherefore we (comfort) one another (IN Christ) with THESE WORDS.
1 Thessalonians 4:14-18 KJB
FOR THE LORD (HIMSELF) SHALL DESCEND FROM HEAVEN

NOT THE TRUMPET SOUND OF ALARM, BUT WITH THE TRUMPET SOUND OF (THE) GATHERING TOGETHER OF THE CONGREGATION.
Acts 1:8-11 KJV

With A SHOUT,( behold the bridegroom cometh)  with the Voice of the Archangel,  and with The TRUMP of God (:) ( the trumpet sound of gathering together) Titus 2:13
AND THE DEAD IN CHRIST SHALL RISE FIRST(:)
Why them first ?
Because the souls of them who have gone on before us, are now at present,  before the Lord in heaven.
They ALSO are waiting for the Transformation ( Blessed Hope). Their corrupt bodies that lay in the dirt, will Rise, and be joined with their souls which come with Jesus in heaven.
THEN (WE) WHICH ARE ALIVE AND REMAIN (SHALL BE CAUGHT UP TOGETHER WITH THEM (IN THE CLOUDS) TO MEET THE LORD (IN THE AIR : ) AN SO SHALL WE EVER BE WITH THE LORD.
(just as the disciples saw him go up in the cloud) No trumpet of alarm.
1 Corinthians 15: 50- 55 KJV
We shall not all sleep, BUT we shall all be changed, IN A MOMENT, IN THE TWINKLING OF AN EYE AT THE (LAST TRUMP(:)  FOR THE TRUMPET SHALL SOUND, AND THE DEAD SHALL RISE INCORRUPTABLE, AND WE SHALL BE CHANGED.

Remember the TWO sounds of the Trumpets.

We are ALREADY with Christ when He Comes (HERE)

THEN cometh The End !

The Lord knoweth how to DELIVER THE GODLY OUT of Temptations, and to reserve the unjust UNTO THE DAY OF JUDGMENT TO BE PUNISHED(:)

All who LOOK for the END, for their deliverance, NOT Looking for THAT Blessed Hope, " the catching Away "  are running the race , NOT as a strong man.

The statutes of the Lord are right, REJOICING THE HEART(:) the commandment of the Lord is pure, enlightening the EYES. The Fear of the Lord is clean, enduring for ever(:) the judgment of the Lord are true and righteous altogether. More to be desired are they than gold, yea, than much fine gold(:) sweeter also than honey and the honeycomb.
Moreover by them is thy servant WARNED(:) and in keeping of them there is Great Reward.
Who can understand his errors? cleanse thou me from secret faults.
Keep Back thy servant also from presumptuous sins(;) let them not have dominion over me(:) THEN shall I' be upright, and I' shall be innocent from the GREAT TRANSGRESSION.
Let the words of my mouth, and the meditation of my heart, be acceptable in thy sight, O Lord, my strength, and my redeemer.

We are Already redeemed ( saved) if we have received the truth of the gospel of Jesus Christ, we will Also be DELIVERED UP as the Kingdom of God. At His Coming, at the LAST TRUMP.

He will never leave us or forsake us, he is the good shepherd, and not an hireling. He gives his life for the sheep. He knows HIS sheep, and is known of his.
We are commanded of the Lord to WATCH, for we know not when the master cometh, at even, or at midnight, or at the cockcrowing, or in the morning. LEST COMING SUDDENLY, HE FIND YOU SLEEPING.

IF we reject "the catching away" as some do, and are not watching for the Blessed Hope, we are lazy servants and think..... Oh the master tarries; and will not be ready when the SHOUT ( trumpet) is sounded, and will be as the foolish virgins with NO oil in their lamps. They are left in darkness and without light at his coming.

When the Trumpet Soundeth Long, They shall COME UP to the mount.

Proverbs 25:7 KJV   For better it is that it be said unto thee, Come up hither(;) Than that thou shouldest  be put lower in the presence of the prince whom thine eyes have seen.
After this I' LOOKED, and, behold, a door was opened in heaven(:) and the First VOICE which I' heard was as IT WERE A TRUMPET talking with me (;) which said, Come up hither, and I' will shew thee things which must be HEREAFTER. Proverbs 25:7 and Revelation 4:1 KJV
 The TWO Witnesses in Revelation 11:12
And they heard a great VOICE from heaven saying, Come up hither. And they ascended UP to heaven in a cloud(;) and their enemies beheld them.
 
AT the End..... when (they) shall see the Son of man coming in a cloud with power and great glory. Luke 21:27 KJV
THIS is the feast of Trumpets, when He comes In All his Power and great glory,  and the Lord shall consume that Wicked, with the spirit of his mouth, and shall destroy with the brightness of his coming. (The Trumpet of ALARM.)
The Day of The Lord     The trumpet heralding the Come King of Kings, and Lord of Lords. And he comes with Ten Thousands of his saints.
