At http://www.fivedoves.com/letters/aug2014/frankm810.htm, Frank said "you sweep under the rug some pretty serious teaching errors." Actually, I was not trying to "sweep under the rug" anything. My point was not to address doctrine, but the issue of launching a personal attack without evidence. I even said at http://www.fivedoves.com/letters/july2014/jovial727-1.htm that "SDAs do have some doctrines I disagree with. Soul Sleep is one." I was not aware that Ellen White taught the complete absence of hell. It was my understanding that SDAs considered hell temporary - that you go to sleep when you die, are tortured or rewarded during the millenium, and then the wicked are destroyed at the end of the millenium. Maybe I'm wrong on what they believe, but that was how I understood it. I would disagree with that as well as the soul sleep.
But my real point was not the issue of doctrine at all. It was the fact that someone accused her of advocating bestiality, and there is really no real reason to accuse her of that. We should be citing proof if we are going to accuse someone of something like that.
