Dealing with those who have ought against you.

One day, a friend & I were talking about the things of God when the Holy Spirit gave us instructions to actual deal with this problem. We both asked God to reveal to us who might have ought against us. Both of us had 4 people each.

We sent each of these people a simply letter stating we knew that we had offended them in word or deed and asked them to forgive us. It was not our intention to have hurt them. We each got one letter back and our relationship with that person was renewed. The other 3 (for both of us) had decided not to forgive.

We both experienced an outrageous feeling of freedom for 2 days following the letters being sent. It was wild indeed. At the point when the letters were send; immediately the feeling of extreme freedom came.

The Lord showed my friend, who is a farmer, a picture of a tractor pulling a wagon full of junk. The hitch pin was removed thus detaching the wagon full of junk from the tractor. That was what was done for us. Our dealing with the “oughts against us” removed the “hitch pin” that detached the wagon of junk from us. We don’t have a clue about the “junk” but a lot of freedom came because we obeyed the Lord.

If you try this, be sure to ask God who has ought against you. He will reveal the truth of this matter. Our letter to each person was very simple; just a few sentences to ask forgiveness. We did not try to explain or justify ourselves. Also if you try this, you might give a report of your experience.
