On August 18, 2014 Jupiter and Venus came within 0.3 degrees of each other in the constellation of Cancer. This author witnessed the event without being aware that it was going to occur. Sometimes getting up and out of the house early has its payoffs. Just before the sun came up, the planets were close to the horizon and it took a double take to ensure that it was not an oncoming plane. Being attuned recently to the Jupiter-Venus conjunction of 2016 meant it was time to look and see if there could possibly be a tie into the prophetic scenario.

The previous study of a Jupiter-Venus conjunction was centered on August 27, 2016. This coming conjunction will have a rare separation of just 0.06 degrees. It was found that it will occur 360 days before the total solar eclipse in Leo on August 21, 2017. The day count from last week’s conjunction until the August 27, 2016 conjunction will be 740 days. Therefore, the day count from August 18, 2014 until the solar eclipse in Leo is exactly 1100 days. It will then be another 30 days until the sign of the Great Pyramid and then one more day until the Feast of Trumpets 2017. That brings the count to 1131 days, which may seem like an obscure number, or rather–maybe not.

1131 days was curious since it was similar to another number used before with the ratio of pi (1113 divided by pi equals the length of the Lunar Year). It was found that 1131 days divided by pi (3.141592654) is equal to 360 (360.0084813). Not only is 360 the length of the year found in Bible prophecy, but it was also the time between  the close conjunction of Venus and Jupiter in 2016 and the total solar eclipse in Leo in 2017. The significance of these signs was established earlier in a previous article. The Cancer sign of 2014 numerically ties into the other signs and the Feast of Trumpets 2017 by pi. This conjunction occurred right next to the star formation known today as the Beehive. It is a mass of stars that makes sense of the name, but it was given other names in ancient times. It was called Praesepe, which means a multitude, offspring. In ancient Egypt, Cancer was known as Scarabeus., which  was the sacred beetle that depicted the coming resurrection. It was also called Klaria, which meant the cattle folds. In the Arabic it was Al Sarian, which meant the one who holds or binds. The Syriac Sartano meant the same. The Greek for Cancer was Karkinos, which meant holding or encircling. The Latin Cancer means the same as the Greek.

The stars of Cancer also bear the overall message of the constellation. There are 83 stars in Cancer. The brightest star Tegmine means holding.  The star Acubene means sheltering or hiding place.  The star Ma'alaph meaning assembled thousands. The star Al Himarein meaning the kids or lambs.  The meaning of the constellation and its stars has thus been stated by E.W. Bullinger as Messiah’s redeemed possession held fast.  Therefore, the picture of Cancer is Messiah’s redeemed who are resurrected and then protected depicting a still future event–the Rapture. 

With Cancer having 83 stars it seems striking that Psalm 83 also speaks of the hidden ones who are now protected before the war to destroy Israel begins at the onset of the Day of the Lord. In that Psalm the enemies of Israel have also plotted against those who have been delivered to safety via the resurrection. This would seem to be a clue that all is not well before the Rapture. Indeed we are witnessing that very thing escalate today and this should not be a surprise, if we are just a few years away from that event. 

Could it be then that the planets that represent the Messiah (Jupiter) and His glory (Venus, the morning star) gathered at the promise of our resurrection to protection (Cancer) signaled the actual coming Rapture in a mere 1,131 days or pi times the prophetic year of 360 days? That the most significant conjunction of the same planets comes 360 days before a total solar eclipse at the start of the Season of Repentance is also beyond coincidence. It would be interesting to see when such an alignment would ever occur again. Even within this final generation, it is probably impossible. If God will show us signs in the heavens, and He has, then with these, we should take note and a moment of pause.
