Readers - I checked the last mention of Gaza in the Old Testament. This is found in Zechariah 9:5 "Ashkelon shall see it, and fear; Gaza also shall see it, and be very sorrowful, and Ekron; for her expectation shall be ashamed; and the king shall perish from Gaza, and Ashkelon shall not be inhabited." The word and number data is found here: http://www.biblewheel.com/GR/GR_Database.php?bnum=38&cnum=9&vnum=5 Remember, Gaza means "treasure". (see my other post about Acts 8:27 and Treasure) The total verse gematria = 4578. Check all Bible verses that have a total verse gematria of 4578. First Bible verse with that 4578 total is Genesis 43:23. Correct! Perfect match! Genesis 43:23 "And he said, Peace be to you, fear not: your God, and the God of your father, hath given you TREASURE in your sacks: I had your money. And he brought Simeon out unto them." Now, check the running gematria total for Zechariah 9:5 from word one to and including word thirteen which is the second mention of Gaza in the verse: That running total = 3352 Check all Bible verses with the total verse value 3352. CORRECT! Perfect match! First verse with a 3352 total = Genesis 5:18 "And Jared lived an hundred sixty and two years, and he begat Enoch:" exactly. Conclusion: This material, along with my other material posted on this site about Gaza, indicates to me that Gaza is a valid reference point for the event that is to come - 1 Thessalonians 4:16-17, of which both Jared (father) and Enoch (son) are keys. The Treasure is NOT IN knowing WHEN this event is to occur - but WHY this event is going to occur when it does, and HOW did God set the markers (past, present, future - Biblical and current events) in place. When we understand that first, then we will understand God Himself and WHY He did what He did, and then the date of the event, if(!) the Lord Jesus will let it be known, should become readily apparent. imho.
