"Pastor Bob hits another Grand Slam"
Greetings John and Doves,
I just had to say it......Thank you
Pastor Bob for you continued insights here at Five Doves. Just when I
thought I had gotten what I needed from you this week with your
continuing "Absence of Proof series" there is that nice nugget on events
that happened on Rosh Hashana. It was special to me since I was Born
again during the Rosh Hashana celebration of 1988 and my oldest son was
physically born on Rosh Hashana 1982. Then you gave us the Tav studies
with the KJV and the number 22. I thought I knew all the significant
numbers ( 3, 5, 7, 10, 12, 37, 666, etc...and so I should finally get
around to reading E. W. Bullingers book. In closing I thank you for your
continued defense of this sight against those who continuously are ever
hearing but never coming to the knowledge.
In my short 26 years of Serving
Jesus I noticed a very subtle sign that an attack on a local body was
starting. God establishes all authority and Paul even presses the
subject when he tell even slaves how to treat their masters. You are a
Pastor and even though you might not be actively Pastoring a
body........you have in the past and as such are deserving of the title
"Pastor". When I would notice certain church members starting to address
the local Pastor by his first name or really just any other name
without the well deserved title of Pastor.....I saw a rebellious spirit
starting to operate. This should always be a HUGE red flag to anyone who
sees this and in much prayer .....try to address it. It's usually
someone with a Prideful spirit thinking they know more than the Pastor,
but they are dangerous and need to be dealt with. I noticed some at the
"babble site" stopped calling you Pastor and that alone told me all I
needed to know. Even if they disagree with you, they should use the
title God gave you, as He establishes ALL AUTHORITY. The irony is those
same rebellious people will try to refer to themselves as a Pastor when
they have no church or body of believers to Pastor. (they should look up
the definition of the word Pastor and maybe they would use a different
title). They throw words like pastor and ordination around like my 8
year old grand kids who try too use big words to fit in, because they
got a license from a .com. There is so much that can be taught on
submitting to Authority that I would urge ebveryone reading this to do a
personal study on it.
1Sa_15:23 For rebellion is as the sin of witchcraft, and
stubbornness is as iniquity and idolatry. Because thou hast rejected the
word of the LORD, he hath also rejected thee from being king.
