"Samehk = Tu b'Av"

The Hebrew letter "samekh" is written as a circle and some rabbis say it is representative of Tu b'Av.  The samehk is written as a circle which represents the virgins who danced in a circle according to a rabbinical teaching... source naaleh.com.

Excerpts from the following comes from hebrew4christians.com.

The root of the word "samehk" means to "lean upon" , "to uphold", or "to support".  The root is also found in semikhah which means the laying on of hands.

Samehk also is the letter for "sukkah" which indicates shelter.

The letter "samehk" is represented as Yod-Hey in the Hebrew numbering system which is one of the sacred names of God.

The miracle of samehk...

The Hebrew letter "nun" which preceeds "samehk" in the alphabet represents one who is bent in humble submission to God.  Putting these two letters together we have the Hebrew word "nes"...miracle.

The source goes on to say that the person of faith is a walking miracle... the Lord gives support to the broken ones who put their trust in Him.  This is seen in Psalm 145 which is an acrostic psalm that begins with "samehk" in verse 14. (source hebrew4christians.com)

"The Lord upholds all who are falling and raises up all who are bowed down."

Credit goes to the work of the scholars that I've cited above.  I am not a Hebrew scholar.  I'd like to think Psalm 145 contains a tiny hint about the rapture through its connection to samehk and its relation to Tu b'Av.

Lord please guide us.
