"re: If I Were An IDF Soldier"

Amen, Paul. I join you. (And to any who dismiss this as the rantings of someone who never served, my four years of submarine service trumps whatever comments you have.)

"If I Were An IDF Soldier"

I would give my commanding officer a letter written by me, notarized, and signed by 3 witness’, that if I was taken hostage or captured by the palestinians I did NOT want any terrorists released for my freedom. That I would rather die a hostage than to gain freedom whose price was the release of terrorists. Furthermore if I die as a hostage I did NOT want them to trade any terrorist for my body. I would rather it rot in the territories then be given a funeral paid for by the release of terrorists.

I understand the “no man left behind” mentality but personally I would rather be left behind knowing the terrorists are still BEHIND bars then be brought back knowing that now the terrorists are BACK in the territories to commit more terror.

NO negotiation NO hostage swaps NO surrender NO retreat.
