"[Revelation2217] My encounter with Jesus..."

Hi all,

First of all, let me give you some information about Divine encounters.   There are some people who have seen Jesus in many different ways.   Some in dreams…  Some in visions…  Some in a trip to heaven… and some in what I would describe as a physical flesh and bone encounter with God.   The disciples, for example, encountered the physical body of Jesus after His resurrection.  Paul encountered His Voice in an open vision.

My personal encounters with God have been through a similitude of His Voice.   What I mean by that, I may “hear” Him speak to my heart, but then I may also “see” a representation of what He said in some physical form.   The similitude is not God, but a picture of His Voice by what He is saying.

A few weeks ago, I was driving into Broken Arrow to pick up my daughter from her boyfriend’s home.   I am following this car down HWY 51, and it took the same exit in front of me.

Now…. I know that it was just a car with MYLORD license plate, and more than likely being driven by a real driver who owns the vehicle…. I know this.   But the WORD on the plate was very visible and it seemed extraordinary that I should be following MYLORD down the highway.   So I asked God if it was HIM.   I really wanted to know if I was seeing His Voice in front of me.  When I turned the corner, I was blown away by what I saw, and I was able to take a picture at the next light.

Apparently these two cars which ended up going in different directions in just two miles down the road were not at all related to each other, and for 2 miles I followed them both where MYLORD turned North on Evan’s Rd.  The other car, 4 JESUS, I followed another 3 miles until I turned off the road as it went on East of Oak Grove Rd. in Broken Arrow.

I discovered this about a week later….

Phone # 3826 = EVAN

Hebrew Strong’s # 3826 = Heart

Hebrew Strong’s # 3827 = Flame  …  found ONLY here in this verse.

Exod 3:2

And the angel of the LORD appeared unto him in a flameH3827 of fire out of the midst of a bush: and he looked, and, behold, the bush burned with fire, and the bush [was] not consumed.

So… if God was trying to make a statement, naturally He would do so in a way that I would eventually discover in the right season.

There have been several times in this last couple weeks when I have gotten a sense of just ONE WORD.   As I have pondered about it, I was thinking how God is so meticulously accurate, that He could just utter ONE WORD to a person, and it would forever change their life.   ONE WORD from God is worth more than millions of dollars in the bank!   I am very serious.   You cannot place a value upon the Word that God speaks.    Anyway, that was my thought.   Then on Saturday, I watched the message of the current series of Lifechurch.tv on Elisha and Pastor Craig spoke of the “ONE WORD” from God.   I realize that he is “listening” to God if he can get the same word I am getting.

Later on Saturday night, I get on Facebook and see that one of my friends posted a link to a YouTube video about How German sounds compared to other languages.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-_xUIDRxdmc

Now, I admit that this does not seem to be related at all to anything of spiritual importance, but it was somewhat humorous in that German is so unique in some cases.   But, I promise that it turned into something significant later in my next encounter with God in His Word.

As the evening drew on, I just got this strong sense, that I REALLY wanted to SEE Jesus.   I’m not talking about someday, I am talking that I wanted to SEE Him SATURDAY NIGHT.   So as I am sitting there at my desk, I realize that it isn’t very likely that I will see Him.   I got to doing things on my computer, and eventually I decided to try looking up ONE WORD since I kept hearing that.   As it turns out, the first time that it occurs in Scripture is:

Verse # 8369

2Sam 14:12

Then the woman said, Let thine handmaid, I pray thee, speak [one] word unto my lord the king. And he said, Say on.

Then I noticed this verse number which is the reverse of 8369.

Verse # 9638

2Kgs 4:34

And he went up, and lay upon the child, and put his mouth upon his mouth, and his eyes upon his eyes, and his handsH3709 upon his hands:H3709 and he stretched himself upon the child; and the flesh of the child waxed warm.

What strikes me about his picture is that Elisha is “overshadowing” the boy that it appears he was reflecting what God was doing…. Mouth to mouth…. Eye to eye…. And hand to hand.   What I really noticed was the HAND to HAND because it was related to something else that God was speaking to me about while I was musing the other day.   So I think to myself… “What does “hand to hand” look like when it is represented by a number… well…  there are TWO HANDS… or numerically… 2 3709 (HAND)’s.

So I look it up, and the first thing I see is:

Webster’s Word # 23709 = Germanism

Then I saw the verse number…

Verse # 23709 = NT BCV (Book Chapter Verse) # 1178

Matt 17:8

And when they had lifted up their eyes, they saw no man, save Jesus only.

Webster’s Vol 2 Word # 1178 = Messiah

When I saw this verse, I realized that I had just encountered Jesus through His Word.   He wanted me to SEE Him in His TRUE form.   Now, I will admit that my encounter with Jesus would have left me a bit disappointed if I only placed a value upon heaven splitting open, and Jesus walking down a majestic stairway right into my bedroom, said “Hi”, and turned around and walked back up into heaven as the majestic chorus fades away as he disappears.   That didn’t happen.   But what was apparent is that He was very present all day long throughout my day even in what seemed insignificant. But when you look at the orchestration of every event that led to THAT moment, it is beyond comprehension how every person had contributed to the orchestration of God revealing Himself through His Word.

I don’t know why this is interesting to me, but the Hebrew word used here for hand is KAF which sounds like the English word CALF.   In Hebrew, there really isn’t a perfectly equivalent word in English for it because it depends on the sense of the word.   If you think of making a CUP with the palm of your hand, that is the picture.   If you think of a curved bottom of a spoon, that is the picture.  The “sole” of the foot is the “cup” of the foot.   So as you can see, this picture is versatile depending on the context.

Given that KAF (3709) refers to the SOLE and HAND, you can see the play on words here in the SOUL and HAND:

3709 Verses from Malachi 4:6

Jer 20:13    Sing unto the LORD, praise ye the LORD: for he hath delivered the soul of the poor from the hand of evildoers.

Remember Elisha being a picture of God?

3709 from the End

Acts 13:30

But God raised him from  the dead:

If you reverse the number…. 9073

Verse # 19073

Jer 5:14

Wherefore thus saith the LORD God of hosts, Because ye speak this word, behold, I will make my words in thy mouth fire, and this people wood, and it shall devour them.

I can keep going, but I am hoping that you can have your own encounter with God in His Word.
