Karen, it sounds to me that during your early morning devotional reading, you tend to read the text in some way (with or without glasses, too near or too far), such that when it comes time to drive, you are either cross-eyed or wall-eyed for a while.  Hence the double image of the moon.

 

Do you have a Bible app on your phone?  Are there wildfires where you live--dark clouds to partially obscure the Moon?  Did you realize that the Moon enters its Last Quarter on Aug 28?  There you go.  And wherever you go, there you are!

 

If a movie makes you understand all that in a better light, watch [warning:  spoiler!!] "Now You See Me."

 

This movie illustrates the idea that people see what they want to see.  If I make the mistake of playing Sudoku on my phone without my glasses (taking advantage of nearsightedness, so as to make use of the notes feature), then when I look up after a long time playing, my vision is cross-eyed for a full five minutes.  Now, if I am sold on the idea of a doppelganger, then I'll believe just about anything.

 

But if I'm sold on Jesus, then I don't believe my eyes first.  I believe the Word first.  The Word talks about Tetrads, not twin moons.

Nevertheless, God uses our weaknesses as if they were our strengths.  In Him, we are strong.

 

The bottom line is, if we are confused, the how confused is the Enemy?  God has written about all He is going to do in open coded format.  The surface meaning is plain and ordinary, but its application to our time is hidden in HaShem.  We access His ideas via the Holy Spirit.

 

All this to say that your waking vision (/optical illusion?) speaks of the antichrist (2nd Christ, as it were) as being a Muslim (hence, the Moon as a symbol).  Since the Moon is used here, it also speaks of a false Bride (false/double image = the five virgins without extra virgin olive oil).  The one that doesn't move when you close your nondominant eye is the "true" image.

 

In other words, the true Bride is the true reflected image of the true Jesus, who in turn is the image of the Most High.

 

The phrase, "the moon at the top of its phase" may then be likened to the rise of the Antichrist on the World scene at the time of the Rapture.

 

As you read this, our Honored POTUS is considering his options in regards to Syria--and in particular, Damascus.

 

To borrow a phrase, "Tick tock!"

 

The world is ripe for deception by the likes of Bo-Manchu.

Gerlinda, last year as I started out on my way to work, I happened to look up at the moon. I was startled to see that it
was flattened on the right side and the bottom, and scorched black in that area.
I emailed my kids and two of my daughters sent me a photo taken of the moon that morning they had found online. It looked normal.
This year, again driving to work (this is about 4:30-5:00 AM), I noticed that something again was wrong with the moon. I felt as if my vision was blurred for a minute. After trying to study it as I drove, (thought I was going to go in the ditch) I realized that there was one moon in front of another; the one in front slowly moved down a bit. It remained this way as I arrived at work.
God is sending us a message of some kind, but I don't know what it is. I too would appreciate any insight that someone could give.
