Dear TH (your post of 21 Aug 2013), John, and Doves:

Thank you for your post, TH!  I have heard this saying, "...to live like Christ

lived..." and variations of that phrase, and it has always kind of confounded

me!  I agree with TH.  How can anybody be so like Christ that they can actually

live like him?  I want to live like Christ...but doesn't that make me guilty of

"works"?  Trying to be like Jesus in my thoughts and actions is an honorable

task and even Jesus said to imitate him...yet to attempt it is indeed a "task"

or in other words, a "works" oriented mentality.  We cannot get anywhere by

our own works, but only by trusting in the works of Jesus!  See how easy it is

to get confused? Or am I totally out in left field here?  I would like to see

what some of the other Doves think about this.
