"Bullinger on
Revelation"
Mr Molver, In all my years of study it has become clearer to me
that you are absolutely right in your response. Another example
is the Book of James which is written to the 12 tribes scattered
abroad, that's not Church Language. That's why there is a
difference between what Paul and Peter preached. Peter preached
to the circumcision, which encompassed Jewish believers in the
Messiah, an up until 70 AD still had their Temple Worship (the
Jerusalem Church). Paul preached to the uncircumcised, which is
the Gospel of Grace (Body of Christ), which also in this
dispensation includes some Jews, but mostly Gentiles. I will not
make myself clear, but on the day of Pentecost, Peter preached
to the whole House of Israel. If they would have repented the
times of refreshing would have come, but they would have had to
endure the tribulation, to which all Jewish Prophets point. If
one were to take out all of Paul's Epistles, you would basically
go from Acts to the End Time New Testament Tribulation scenario.
An example I have heard is it is like looking from one mountain
peak to another, but you can't see the valley in between. Peter
couldn't see or the other Jewish writers couldn't see the Body
of Christ, which was a mystery revealed to Paul only. Let the
Body of Christ be removed (another of Paul's mysteries), then
the focus is on Israel being prepared for her coming King as she
goes through the tribulation. I didn't do this justice. I am
still a work in progress of study. God Bless, Jimmy
