   According to Genesis 18-19, the people of Sodom and the other cities on the plain deserved destruction. Total destruction did happen to everyone and everything there except the 3 members of the Lot family. In his meaningful article from 6-16-2010, "Catastrophic Changes" F. M. Riley wrote about the massive changes which will happen to earth, people, places and things during the 7 year hour of trial before The Second Coming. His articles are at www.his-forever.com/ to study. Especially interesting are his remarks about the destruction of Sodom. It was "overthrown" is stated in Genesis 4 times for emphasis. What does "overthrown" mean? It was more than destroyed, incinerated. The ground, the land, beneath Sodom was cast up in volcanic explosion in lava. Then fire and brimstone rained down. In a sense, the land, the ground, the landscape was rejecting Sodom!

 

   Riley believes that Sodom is an example for the future, of what will happen everywhere, to every square inch on planet earth over the 7 year period of the hour of trial. Meaning what? Earth will have its interior from molten core outward, churning up to the surface. The surface would be churning down. Result? There will be no safe place, either on the surface or in the interior. Sheer global upheaval. How about the 200 or more substantial underground bunkers for some, prepared since 1983, in North America? To house a total combined number of about 250,000 or more of the elite and their chosen servants, to absolutely safeguard? Other underground shelters elsewhere in the world? We are in the solar maximum period from 2010-2020 and these powerful electro-magnetic pressures would be part of a double whammy. The other would be the soon nearing closer transit of Planet X (Nibiru) the 10th planet in this solar system with a long orbit like that of a comet. The last time this planet, estimated to be 5-6 times the size of earth, passed by was about 3630 years ago. So there would be dual perils for interior and exterior of planet earth: electro-magnetic damages plus geothermal pressures clashing against each other for 7 years.

 

   If people in groups attempt to shelter themselves in well fortified underground reinforced concrete and steel bunkers, the best and finest money can buy, will they provide fail safe protection and safety in buffer zones between the surface churning down and the core and insides churning up? In his article "Planet X" from 2-11-2011, he reasons that they may indeed become death traps. Why? The geothermal pressures (planetary shaking, earthquakes, volcanoes, lava, surface fissures, tectonic plate fractures) will become so massive and overwhelming that these bunkers will become structurally compromised and fail. He provided 3 possible scenarios. Here are 2 more, theoretically. What if the air supply turbines fail, these would pump in vitally necessary fresh filtered air. We need air with oxygen in it to breathe, to live. What if lava encases the bunker sanctuaries? Result? The hideaways and contents would become melting hot. Isaiah has an answer concerning what will happen to those in treasure places beneath the surface of the earth. Peace and safety? They will be "overthrown" as will the places on the planetary surface. Isaiah states powerfully that "they will leave their treasures to the owls and to the bats." See Isaiah 2:17-22.

 

   Mrs Lot need not have looked back to Sodom. She was commanded not to look back. There was NOTHING LEFT, of what had been. Her home, her beloved things, her neighborhood, the neighbors, the city were GONE. Each and all was "OVERTHROWN" at Sodom. On The Day of The Blessed Hope, as tumult is unfolding, we are to remember and not be like Lot's wife. We are not to look back to a Sodom "wanna be" place being "overthrown" with fire, destruction, and death. The Day and its events may well remind us of Sodom and its being "overthrown" long ago and never a home for people ever since. Sodom now? Some scull fragments? Scorpions?

 

   In his recent article "The Great Awakening....."Killshot"" of 7-27-2013, he writes about possible dire events in September of 2013. Might the great escape be before the "Overthrowing" just ahead? Possible harpazo after "Ye shall have tribulation for 10 days" concening the Days of Awe from The Feast of Trumpets to Yom Kippur ("The Day" of Judgment? The Day of Separation)?  We shall see.
