"Yom Ha Din: Day of Judgment (The Feast of Trumpets)"

Dear Doves,

The 40 days of annual Teshuvah are from Elul 1 to Tishri 10. This special period incorporates many spiritual themes: introspection, reflection, soul searching, avid repentance, and reconciliation. Of particular significance are always the days 30 to 40, the Days of Awe from The Feast of Trumpets until Yom Kippur. The days 30 to 40 underscore a motif of JUDGMENT. From the Hebrew, The Feast of Trumpets (Rosh Hashanah) is Yom Ha Din, Day of Judgment. Some believe that the living are assessed and judged by Adonai on this day. Thereafter, the 10 days are like intensifying days of assessment and judgment until resolution in final judgment on Yom Kippur, like Judgment Complete Day. Eddie Chumney has fine chapters about the feasts of Israel in his book The Seven Festivals of the Messiah. He notes the following phrases for Yom Kippur: Face to Face, The Day, The Great Day, The Fast, The Great Shofar (Shofar Ha Gadol), Neilah: The Closing of the Gates of Heaven.

Yom Kippur is a day of "afflicting of the soul" with fasting and repentance. It is one of 4 Jewish fast days which will be turned from sorrow into joy. When will Yom Kippur become always an annual day of joy? Might it be with the event of The Day of The Blessed Hope? Remember, one of the names for Yom Kippur is The Day! For the transformed among the dead then the living, it shall be a day of ineffable joy but sorrow for the "earth dwellers" who remain. Separation. The blessed, already judged and forgiven, will be separated from those unrepentant JUDGED and found wanting. The judged of the unrepentant, those not waiting patiently and watching for Messiah/Christ, will remain on earth. They will not escape the snare of the fowler, will not escape all that is to come, will not evade the 21 judgments detailed in The Book of Revelation, and will not have the strength to stand before the son of man.

The transformed, the blessed, will flee the judgments and the wrath to come. The "earth dwellers" enter the hour of trial, the 70th Week of Daniel, the shavua from year 484 to 490, the pouring out of worsening judgments and wrath. Psalm 113:7 states "He raises up the poor from the dust, and lifts the needy from the ash heap." Might that refer to the year 2013, month 7 named Tishri? Ashes are a result of intense FIRE. Look ahead by 7 to Psalm 120:7. Might that refer to year 2020, month 7 named Tishri? Psalm 120:7 states "I am for peace; but when I speak, they are for war." What is the final siege of the hour of trial? Armageddon, when armies of the whole world amass against Israel and Jerusalem. In Psalms 113 and 120, the last verse in each is verse 7. At http://www.rogershermansociety.org/cleaning.htm is "The Cleansing is Coming" by F.M.Riley , dated 8-19-2013, about a refiner's fire period just ahead. FIRE on earth up to several hundred degrees. Might The Blessed Hope be any day?

With Love and Shalom,
Jean
